A small space, hosting all sorts of butterflies, even some caterpillars (according to the signage)! There you can see all the stages a butterfly goes through, as well possibly be lucky enough to have one or two sit on you! The place itself is very hot and humid for the butterflies' wellbeing, thankfully there is a stand where you can leave your jacket. It surely is a unique experience! Reduced ticket (student discount) costed 7€. 5/5!

It is rather cramped and confined space that takes up to 15 minutes to walk around. Hot and steamy and it can get quite busy with other people so please make sure you wear lightly. Bit pricey but interestingly enough to get inside and admire lush greenery and abundant of plants and numerous butterflies at the same time. An entrance ticket for adult costs 9,50 euro.
Stop by and visit if you are interested in this kind of sights.

Beautiful Butterfly House! We could even experience the “rebirth” of a caterpillar into a butterfly, it was amazing. A tip of my side is to leave your jacket or jumper at the entrance racks as it is quite warm and humid in there :)

Lovely and wonderful to spend time with beautiful butterflies flapping around you. The soft sound of the waterfall with the koi made it extra special. They offer detail information on the species and even have the hatching cases on display. Worth the visit.

Nice little glasshouse with an artificial tropical environment.
Would advise you to wear light clothing inside as it's pretty hot and stuffy.
An interesting place for sure
It is very crowded on weekends
They have some species of butterflies and lovely information all around.
We got lucky and had a beautiful pair of butterflies come sit on us (this was not intentional, the butterflies just did that organically)

it was very nice but there were not so many different types of butterflies only few, also i expected more butterflies too but still it was very beautiful! i also thought it would be a bigger place. places to walk are also very narrow so i think it would be not so comfortable on the weekend

An interesting place to include on a trip to Vienna. Reasonable price, we probably stayed for half an hour walking around and looking at the various species of butterly and enjoying the plants and waterfalls. It was very hot, even in March when it was only 15c outside. There were hundreds of butterflies flying around. Some were sadly dead, not sure if this was because they don't live long or from people but, it could be upsetting for young children. Overall we enjoyed our visit. There's a free cloakroom and rest room as well.
