As usual the brothers who run the chiosk
are friendly and skilled. The burgers are exceptional. (see photo)

This is a narrow strip of public garden sandwiched between Via Carlo Felince and the old Aurelian Wall and linking Piazza S. Croce in Gerusalemme (northeast) and Piazza S. Giovonni in Laterano (southwest).

The park was opened in 1999 and offers some basic green space and surprisingly good viewing conditions of the old Wall along with some basic urban park facilities.

There is an interesting monument of St. Francis of Assisi at the southwest end, facing Basilica di San Giovanni that is worth spending a few minutes to enjoy if you pass by or through this park.

This is a very well maintained park with a group of volunteers that keeps everything very nice looking. There is also a place to have coffee tea and cake. You have a nice view of the city wall as well.

In a busy compact city like Rome Green space seems limited. Thus park though is a lovely space for the local community, young children practice cycling, friends meet up and there's also a Cafe area. The area next to it has a roman wall running alongside.

Came across this very well kept park across Piazzale Appio from Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano. A great park to bring the kids, very family friendly. Saw a lot of folks biking, jogging or just soaking in the sun and people watching - away from the commotion of city life. The park is fronted by the beautiful Monumento a San Francesco d'Assisi.

Nice Place to rest for few minutes. People comes to walk their dogs or for little run. There is a corner for kids.

We loved strolling around trying to recognize names of the busts on display all around the park. The view over Rome is worth the walk. Oh and the working water clock!
