The surrounding is great, it's peaceful and pleasant on hot days. The garden is very sweet, orange trees very beautiful, the city view also amazing. The problem is that you cannot enjoy it fulfully, because it can be very crowded, at the first place. Second, the souvenir sellers are everywhere, and you have to watch not to step on to something.

Amazing views from the gardens and there is also an old Roman church there.

The orange trees laiden with fruit allow a strong citrus scent to fill the park.

There was a wedding while we were there, a guitarist (not sure if he was part of the wedding) and an artist who was selling his beautiful paintings.

This whole area looks lovely and it's certainly worth the short climb for the panoramic views.

Awesome park, not too crowded offering great views.
1 star off to the fact that the entrance is located on one side only. Visitors must walk around the whole fence to enter.

A good place to see Rome at a good height without the crowd!

Free. It's a little garden top. A little walk up and you can also visit the Rose garden (Roseto Comunale) on your way up from Circo Massimo.

There are Mandarin oranges trees around. Some people come here for painting or just to stroll. There's someone selling nice painting and a mobile vendor selling hats. Also someone playing nice music! Just perfect for the place. A good place to be at, away from the crowd.

A very stunning place to view and take some nice pictures at the corner.

Giardino degli Aranci is like a hidden oasis in the middle of Rome! This place is seriously underrated. Tucked away on the Aventine Hill, it's this lush garden filled with orange trees (hence the name) and some of the most stunning views of the city. I stumbled upon it while wandering through the streets, and it instantly became one of my favorite spots. There's something so peaceful about strolling through the fragrant orange groves and gazing out at the rooftops and domes of Rome stretching out before you. It's the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This place is recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil retreat in Rome. Whether you're a nature lover, a romantic looking for a quiet spot to enjoy with your partner, or just in need of some peace and quiet away from the tourist crowds, Giardino degli Aranci is the place to be! Trust me, you won't regret spending some time soaking in the beauty and serenity of this hidden gem.

Beautiful place to visit for free. Nice landscape view of the city. Please note, you should not walk on the blocked off areas around the orange trees. Sad to see so many people walking and laying in the grass, not allowing it to grow.

A beautiful secluded orange garden. If you are in the area, it's definitely worth visiting. There is a very nice atmosphere there and some beautiful sights. Compared to the rest of the Rome, there is not too many people.
