The small chocolate croissant was good. I expected more crispy but it was more like soft. They have really good cheesecake! Bread stick was okay
Bread’s bakery’s babka is a star. It’s chocolatey, flakey, not too bready and stunning to look at. It retained all of those qualities even when it was brought across the country and eaten a day later.
Conveniently located at the corner of Bryant Park.
Visiting NY from Toronto, we go around the park and try new spots for tea and bakery every morning.
The food itself is top notch and the serve was really nice.
The -2 star goes for this weird thing where they refused to heat the bread I had purchased a few seconds ago, after asking if I 'touched' it. Of course I touched it how else would I have known it was hard bread. It's not like it was bitten, cut, or chewed on.
I found it really weird. I guess you really need to ask before you order or get the cashier to ask if the bread needs to be heated.

We visited Breads Bakery randomly and the kiosk-looking shop serves limited styles. Due to the narrow space, the food wasn’t served warm which was kind of disappointing.
their famous and signature Babka and mini croissant lookex so tempting but i had a cappuccino and oat cookie with. The pastries were not the best but decent with reasonable portion. The lady was very nice and service was quick.
A must stop if you are spending time at brynt park.
You can always check out other coffee shops or restaurants nearby, but this is one is great.

The location is on the corner of Bryant Park and it is a little kiosk/stand store so not much ambience to comment on but even though it is tiny, service is efficient and fast.
I got some plain croissants and they were oh so buttery, crispy and flaky! Perfect to eat while sitting in the park.
This little kiosk store may not have as much selections as a bigger Breads Bakery store, though they do have all the yummy basics and most loved items!

ONCE IS NEVER ENOUGH!!!! My second time to NY, two times coming back to Breads Bakery! Their babka is 2 die 4 ! They have the promotion of 2 babka for $29 !? It’s a bit pricey, but trust me it is worth your $$ !! Their babka is really delicious. They are chewy & sweet
May look like an unassuming kiosk in Bryant Park, but this establishment serves up the best hot mocha latte I have ever had. The tomato & mozzarella sandwich was also amazingly good. Highly recommend, especially if the weather is nice and you can enjoy your food in the park!
