Not a great cheesecake, it was just not particularly tasty, nor creamy. I was looking forward for my first NY cheesecake, if this is it, I don’t need more of that. The coffee is a really bad automated coffee, so paying over total 12 euros for this + tip, was just a rip off.
This is a wonderful place to have a magical fusion of techniques and flavors for the elevated palate that appreciates the importance of the subtle and delicate sweetness of desserts. The beauty and heart that is imbued upon each desert shows the mastery of their Executive Chef and the precision of the chefs under her. Japanese and French fusion of deserts done at a mastery level.

The perfect place for a quick pick-me-up, with a wide range of dessert options! It’s hard to come by desserts made with this much precision, each with such unique flavours. I got the caramel cheesecake, green tea tiramisu, and the shiso fromage blanc mousse. Would highly recommend the tiramisu, which came in this cute lil glass jar. The place isn’t too big, so seating fills up fast.
I've only had them about 3 times. The first two times, the cookies were fresh baked and still warm. This last time, they were completely cooled and not soft at all. Slightly disappointed Unlike Levain, which I find delicious, cold, or warm.
A nice cozy cafe with pretty desserts. The basil green apple mousse was very tasty, I was expecting it to be super sweet, but it wasn’t, it was light and pleasant. Wish it had been a little bigger though. The black sesame latte was really good, again not too sweet which was nice.
Lots of options and always well stocked but cheesecake lacked a lot of flavor. Felt very underwhelming and at almost $10/slice, probably wouldn't go back. Good spot if you're a tourist around Times Square I imagine though!
There was about a 45 minute wait on a weekday for brunch. Put your name down and they will text you when your table is ready. This place is not too big, but the hostesses and servers seem to keep it moving efficiently. Food took another 45-60 minutes to come out. Everything was delicious and presented well. $12 Mimosas were tasty. Prices per plate are between $18-$25.
This place was for long on my want to go list. Couple of times when we came there was a wait more than 1 hour but this morning we had a luck. Pancakes were amazing, syrup is so tasty. There are no just blueberries on top but inside the pancakes as well. Shake was good as well. Spanish scramble was ok, nothing special.
I am not sure waiting more than one hour for table is worth but but if you are in the neighborhood you can try your luck.
Despite being full you don't wait for your food too long, that is great plus. I think we got our food 5-10minutes after ordering it.

Came on a Saturday straight from my flight ~11am. Unfortunately it was full, there was a ~30m wait for me. Service was great, enjoyed the mom & pop atmosphere (minus the natural noise)

Had the best scone here! Be sure to try to goat cheese scone if you love savory or the chocolate scone if you like sweet.
The country breakfast was very filling!
Also the grits are the best I have tried.

Our go to branch is in London so we got curious whether the NYc branch is similar quality.
In Europe, ice cream serving staff goes through a 2 wks training, so we were told. Here not sure but the flower doesn't resemble anything which the brand stands for, pretty loveless the ice cream petals were clasped on.
In London the entire cone is filled with ice cream first before they apply the flower on top - irregardless any size ot cones you buy. Given what they charge here, you get a hollow cone and some ice cream on the top for a classic cone?! Pretty disappointing effort and a rip off.
The ice cream is also creamier in London - here tastes more watery. Not the same, won't return for more on this side of the lake.

Not much to not like about this little bakery. Service was friendly and our almond chocolate croissant was a real treat. Would be happy to return and try other things. Was nice to be able to sit at a table briefly for a snack, and then make our way to MOMA.
This restaurant deserves its rank for having the best pancakes in New York. They are absolutely delicious! I’ve tried the blueberry and chocolate chip so far but I have no doubt that the banana walnut is delicious too. Everyone must try the grits. OMG they are so good! I like the restaurant so much that last year I celebrated my birthday over there with all my closest friends. Everyone said very nice things about the food. Two of my friends had the fried chicken and waffles. They liked it very much. My other friends had rave reviews for the shrimp and grits. Everyone must also try the biscuits and raspberry jam. They are very good! We all ate them up. This is truly a great restaurant. I highly recommend everyone to try the pancakes.
My Carmel salted cookies was a bit hard. Not like the first time. the others were good though
HANDS DOWN THE BEST Napoleon in all of NYC. I love that they have everything packed and organized in the multiple coolers so you can either be in and out, or spend some time making your decisions. The staff are super friendly and could answer any question regarding ingredients. If you get a cheesecake they will put toppings on it behind the counter if you ask. I suggest the Dulce de Leche Napoleon… it’s heavenly
Come for the dessert. Overall not too sweet, which is what I like. Pudding is my favorite but green tea tiramisu and mango mousse are both great as well. Cold brew is a bit on the sour side, not my style but I can imagine some ppl like it. Flat white is a good.
absolutely loved my visit here. food was delicious, literally no complaints. service was great and our food came fast. their signature maple syrup was so unique and the chicken was crispy. the watermelon lemonade was sweet and so was the blueberry hard lemonade. the sandwich was actually phenomenal, the combination of flavors was so good. will definitely be returning!!!
A nice, small, neighborhood type cafe with tables and outlets. The perfect place to study. The iced matcha latte was perfect on a hot, humid summer day.
Good place for a quick lunch stop or if you are a tourist and want to grab a coffee/snack. Very clean and service is fast . They have some lovely stuff I loved the potato stuffed in puff pastry (tasted like veg puff)

Loved this place! Delicious gelato and sorbet, beautifully presented, at a reasonable price. I had a large cone with stracciatella gelato and blood orange and lemon sorbets. It was all delicious and felt light - doesn't make you feel gross after eating it. They shape the flavors together into a flower on the cone. Will definitely be coming back to try some other flavors!
Bread’s bakery’s babka is a star. It’s chocolatey, flakey, not too bready and stunning to look at. It retained all of those qualities even when it was brought across the country and eaten a day later.
Me and my wife love pinkberry , we have been going to different ones around the city since we was about 17-18 we are both 27 now and still crave pinkberry once in a while . Their flavors are amazing and its always a small spot to chill and converse. The employees behind the counter are always nice in each one we have went so far including this one. One thing i will say is that the floor was a bit dirty which something im not use to seeing in the many pinkberry’s i have been to but overall it was great .
I ordered from Patisserie Claude several times over the past few years and had been pleased, but I was shocked by the quality of my latest delivery a few days ago. The Napoleons I received had been FROZEN and were in only the early stages of thawing! Naturally, as they thawed the pastry cream separated and became granular. In addition, the pain au chocolats and croissants were the worst I've received from any bakery. The croissants were completely misshapen, as if the party making them knew nothing about the proper shape of a croissant. They were laden with butter but not at all flakey. As a result, they were like leaden lard and inedible. The same was true of the pain au chocolats. I called and complained about the Napoleons and was offered a free redelivery of Napoleons the following day, but I decided to take a pass because any bakery that's capable of delivery what I received the day before is a bakery I'll never trust again.
The closest thing that I have come to Italian gelato outside of Italy. The flavors are bold and fresh. There is always a line, but it moves at a good place, so don't let that discourage you.
This is an unassuming shop in the middle of a slightly crowded street. It's relatively big and was quite busy even at 9 pm considering its location. The mochi was absolutely incredible. We ordered our mochi and they were made around 10 minutes later because it was made fresh. I got the daifuku flavors chocolate oreo and yuzu lemon which were super tasty and made fresh. The only thing is the mochi was a bit runny by the time I made it back to the hotel so eat this fresh in the shop.

The -2 star goes for this weird thing where they refused to heat the bread I had purchased a few seconds ago, after asking if I 'touched' it. Of course I touched it how else would I have known it was hard bread. It's not like it was bitten, cut, or chewed on.
I found it really weird. I guess you really need to ask before you order or get the cashier to ask if the bread needs to be heated.

first time trying and was so yummy! got two desserts to share and absolutely loved it! chamomile mango mousse was to die for and the balance of sweet to tart was soo good! we also had the green tea pudding mousse and it was good too! taste is so real and authentic. the staff was really nice and offered us his recommendations as well! :)
We found this little shop and had to stop in! We ordered many delicious treats and my favorite was the blueberry tart! Such a wonderful little establishment and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! Lots of gluten free and vegan options as well! Definitely going to be coming back and I highly recommend you stop in for a quick bite! 😁
Sedutto has been our go-to ice cream shop for 7+ years. It’s an upper east side classics treat shop. They have endless options of ice cream, frozen yogurt and even a few ice cream sandwiches and mochi!

This place was so busy but the line WAS WORTH IT. These humans are ice-cream artists! So friendly and patient during such a busy time AND the gelato was drool-worthy.

During my 1-week trip to NYC, I'd pass by breads bakery every other day to try something different. The pastries taste so good specially the potato bureka, feta bureka and Spinach/feta bureka 🤤 its great for a quick bite

I really love Pinkberry's! The Server was very sweet and kind and gave what I consider to be a acceptable amount.

I've been a couple of times lately and wanted to say how spacious, & pleasant and helpful the staff were when I came to find some yummy selections. The chocolate babka may well be the best in town but I also love the spinach & feta buretka. The soft pretzel is good, some breads are as well, but they also make a nice sandwich and salads. The young women, I'm fairly certain it was all women working during my last visit, were all happy, helpful and quick. Yummy cakes to go with the must have chocolate babka.

We visited Breads Bakery randomly and the kiosk-looking shop serves limited styles. Due to the narrow space, the food wasn’t served warm which was kind of disappointing.

Yum yum!! Tastes like ice cream without feeling terrible from the calories. I love their cake flavor, caramel, strawberry and plain, and love that you can select your own toppings in the amounts you want. Highly recommend! Also no line!
I had been hearing the good things about this place for a long time from Instagram and my friends. I happen to be near Amsterdam area and I saw this restaurant and wanted to give it a shot. I purchased a box of 6 cookies and honestly they were so delicious . These cookies were the best cookies I ever had. Now about the restaurant even though it was small but clean and well maintained. The cashier was so frequently that the menu for cookies screen was malfunctioned but she was reading the entire cookies menu to each customer with so much passion and love. I would highly recommend this store if you around the area.
LOVED THIS PLACE. The chamomile mango mousse ($11) was so delicious and beautifully crafted .. 🤤 It looks hard like a shell on the outside but it’s actually really soft mousse. The sweetness of the white chocolate chip on top complemented the fluffy mango honey cream mousse so well!
Ordered the earl grey cold brew as well (which was really just fancy earl grey iced tea). Super fresh. Will try the other mousses and desserts next time especially the yuzu/green tea one!

Love this place, if you want to grab a drink but not fried chicken, you can have a high quality dessert course here at night! Sometime my friend and I visit place after dinner. Typically the waiting list won't be too long, plus th outdoor seats are first come first serve. Highly recommend their souffle, unfortunately it only available in the dessert course (good for 2 girls). The other one we love is sesame cup.

Would not recommend this place. We tried the mochi dango and paid $8 to receive the tinest little mochis the size of a thumbnail. The flavor was decent, but for the size and price would not recommend!

Very nice little coffee shop tucked up a quiet side street near NYU Langone. On the morning I visited the two people working were both great and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Coffee was very good. Almond croissant was tasty. There are some small tables and chairs outside too which are nice at this time of year. Good coffee, good food, friendly staff, fast service. Definitely recommended.
Found this spot after reading the reviews. I was visiting Central Park and hopped a bus to give it a try. Worth it! I tried Brownie Fudge kiddie cone? I think I ordered it wrong judging by the look the guy gave me 😂🤣. I sat out front and enjoyed my cone.... Then went back for another 🤔. I'm an ice cream lover and I approve of this place.
Amazing sliced cakes! Customer service is an even incredible! We were recommended best seller pastries and didnt regret! Had good time with friends. They have coffee, tea, other optional drinks too.

Listen, pinkberry has been apart of my life since 2010 and I have YET to be disappointed! My alll time go to is the hazelnut flavor! My son also LOVES this place ! Deff a must got if you want a quick cold froyo.
Am in awe by the attention to detail of these pastry items! I got a shiso cake which was delicious; it's light and the flavours worked well together! It's quite busy even on a Saturday night, but I would recommend getting seating!
PROOF in Kips Bay is one of my go-to spots for good coffee when I am at the office in the city - their lattes are strong and delicious which is just what I need to start my day! The staff is always friendly and the store is always clean. They are tucked into 1st Ave in a quiet spot which is also a nice way to hide from the noise and traffic while you enjoy your coffee!
Small and unassuming bakery / pastry shop in west village, but the pastries at @patisserie_claude is so tasty it’s totally worth stopping by to grab yourself a treat! There’s basically no seating, so I would recommend to grab coffee and find seating elsewhere.

Fresh baked goods, tons of options including salads and sandwiches, with excellent service! Convenient Rockefeller Center location. We will be back to sample more. OK, we came back! The soft pretzels are my personal favorite...fresh and doughy! They will heat them up for you, or if you taking them home you can pop them in the oven. Cheesecake is quite good as well. Shout out for the GREAT SERVICE!!
this is some of the best mochi I’ve ever had! we got the classic skewer and the hot chrysanthemum soup mochi, and both were amazing. I actually think the soup mochi was even better than the ice cream, because it reminded me of eating tangyuan when I was little (it is a tangyuan filled with black sesame btw). I will say the atmosphere is definitely a hole in the wall vibe- you can see the kitchen where they are making the mochi for better or worse, but that’s the LES experience. the service is lackluster (we literally heard the employees fighting in the back while we were waiting for our food), but I’m okay with that for a dessert place. I would definitely recommend coming here for dessert!
This is a small gem hidden in the city. My steady to go are the Almond Croissant, Quiche and their Chocolate Opera Cake. Always fresh and perfectly made. Assorted cookies are for special occasions.

ONCE IS NEVER ENOUGH!!!! My second time to NY, two times coming back to Breads Bakery! Their babka is 2 die 4 ! They have the promotion of 2 babka for $29 !? It’s a bit pricey, but trust me it is worth your $$ !! Their babka is really delicious. They are chewy & sweet
I was looking for French Pastry and I decided that day to visit few shops.
Patisserie Clause was the first one I’ve visited.
The first things that caught my eyes was how dirty the floor was with croissants crumbs, eventhough I was the only customer in the shop.
I ordered one millefeuille and an abricot tartelette, and i noticed they were not fresh, so I asked if they were fresh and I was told “everything here is fresh”.
I was so frustrated, the custard cream had cracks which means that the it lasted at least 2 days in the fridge, and the tartelette was so soft I couldn’t take two bites from each one of them.
I told the cashier this is far from fresh pastry, I threw them in the trash and left.
No apologies whatsoever!
This is not French Pastry, this a shame and I won’t recommend it to anyone.

I was so frustrated, the custard cream had cracks which means that the it lasted at least 2 days in the fridge, and the tartelette was so soft I couldn’t take two bites from each one of them.
I told the cashier this is far from fresh pastry, I threw them in the trash and left.
No apologies whatsoever!
This is not French Pastry, this a shame and I won’t recommend it to anyone.
This is a bakery in midtown Manhattan along the 6th Aveneue, just above the orange line subway station (47-50 Rocketfeller Centre). The bakery is spacious and am comfortable shopping there. There are a variety of bakery, which includes cakes, tarts, bagels, salads. I bought a banana chocolate chip cake ($15.95) and several breads. It is quite pricy though. There are also selling coffee in the bakery.
Went here at 8pm with my friend and it was the Best mochi I've ever had 🥹!! Not only did it look cute but it also was delicious! Want to visit here again!
4.7 stars? Really??? I decided to try a variety of croissants from here and was heavily disappointed. I tried the chocolate and almond croissant, peach tart, broccoli quiche, cinnamon raisin roll. All the stuff was plain looking. No efforts taken on at least making it look like a croissant. The chocolate one was the best among them, flaky and crispy. The peach tart was good too. Broccoli didn’t go well at all in the quiche, wish they had tasted it before putting it on the menu. Cinnamon raisin roll was dry. Almond croissant was mainly cream cheese with a slight flavor of almonds. I have had better croissants than this from places not having that high of a rating. Don’t understand the hype.
I think this coffee is one of the best I've tried in NYC because the beans are ground instantly but only if you want a coffee because then it doesn't have any sandwich's or hot food .. it only has some desserts .. I think they should invest more in food since if coffee is very good! also the location is a bit hidden!
May look like an unassuming kiosk in Bryant Park, but this establishment serves up the best hot mocha latte I have ever had. The tomato & mozzarella sandwich was also amazingly good. Highly recommend, especially if the weather is nice and you can enjoy your food in the park!
They have more than 50 flavors available in addition to what's on display at the front. They also sell other famous local brand ice cream in pints (like tipsy scoop and blue marble). Some of the flavors really stand out, like cheesecake, butter pecan, maple walnut, cafe espresso. It's very creamy and not too sweet. There are other flavors I sampled but are on the sweeter side (salted caramel, chocolate).
The staff is not as enthusiastic or welcoming as other local ice cream shops but friendly and patient enough. I guess he's just shy:) also the price is fair! ($4 kid size $6 small size)

Insomnia cookies smells like heaven. The chocolate chunk cookie is my favorite and it goes well with the chocolate ice cream. One thing I do not like about this location is the fact that they almost never have the bite size chocolate chunk cookies. Why offer that on the menu if you never have it!?
The number of fabulous flavors is incredible. Thankful to have a taste or two to help me decide what to get peanutbutter vanilla, pb pie, and s'mores were all rich in flavor and great consistency. Loved every drop!! Can't wait to go back to try more. Also I'll have to try one if the fantastic special cones! Very professional person waited on me.
Beautiful and tasty ice cream mochi skewers. Nice selection of ice cream flavors and the mochi includes a piece of tat flavor (e.g. actual lychee, kiwi, black sesame, etc). Cute shop with some seating inside.
One of the best almond croissants I have had so far! Went around 11 am and a freshly baked batch was there. It was soft, warm and tasted great!
Convenient outpost that serves babka just as good as the main locations. I tried a slice of the cinnamon and a slice of the chocolate. The chocolate one still remains undefeated and is one of the best pastries I’ve ever had. Worth a try and this is the only location that serves it by the slice I think
There are million flavors at this ice cream shop! The price point is very reasonable compared to its competitors. Tastings available. Kiddie sized cup available and a good portion. The ice cream was creamy and rich and not too sweet. I will definitely be back!
This is the best ice cream I’ve found in the city that I’ve tried (and I’ve tried a lot). The number of flavors is impressive but the texture and actual flavor of each one was amazing. I’ve found that a lot of ice cream scoops end up just tasting like vanilla ice cream with some mix ins - not here!! I got hotel black bottom pie (rum based with graham crackers) and s’mores, both were incredible. Scoop sizes are big and the price is very reasonable. This is worth the trip and line.
Cool ice cream spot in the UES. Great selection! There’s the classic flavors and the creative, fun flavors to try as well. I enjoyed it a lot! Can’t wait to try their other flavors.
Insomnia cookies are a spot and hit the spot! Great staff and fresh cookies. They were attentive to us and got us the right combo they needed despite being busy with deliveries. They acknowledged us right away and we’re fresh and tasty. Definitely should stop in if you need a late night dessert. 🍪 😎
Heard of this gem via YouTube. Is it the best?...no; but, I can honestly say that it did not disappoint! For $20 you get 3 fluffy, moist, sweet large pancakes, a topping, and dipping sauce. They do close mid day and reopen at 5pm w/ a different menu. The options are plenty! I definitely would recommend it as a must try if you are in the area!
Simply amazing and generous servings at standard prices ($10 for 3 scoops). Top 5 ice cream shops for me out of 40, I have been to in New York. They use real fruit for their fruit flavors and the flavors show that they use the real high quality ingredients. They also allow sampling and have a large selection (50 flavors including a few vegan).
They also sell soft serve, shakes, frozen yogurt, spiked ice cream and shakes, pints and sundaes. I got the blueberry, sea salt caramel and Milkyway. All of them were amazing and flavors were spot on even for the Milkyway (candy bar). The blueberry was my favorite and had real blueberry pieces and seeds in it. Sea salt caramel was a close second.
It is a 100 year old gem of an ice cream shop that doesn't also force you to tip and supports baseball. Strongly recommend.

The dessert was overall decent without any surprise and the dango was plain in our opinion. We love the tang yuan much better, especially the black sesame mochi ball, which was really flavorful.

Frozen yogurt was excellent. Service was acceptable. My suggestion would be to have a team member clean off the tables every once in a while. I have been here several times and the tables seem like they are always dirty.
This place is phenomenal!! Everything we had was amazing and so tasty. The warm dango with sauce was delicious, the rolled mochi with filling was the softest mochi I have ever eaten and even the teas are delicious and made with real fruit, and the "boba" is more like tiny mochi pieces!! I've never had such awesome mochi, I highly recommend this place!! It's worth going out of your way for!!
Haven't been back in years and the quiche is still excellent and the apricot tarte does not disappoint. Unassuming patisserie that can be easily missed. Make a stop when in the area. Very good prices. There are a few tables outside if you are lucky.
I visited this place for the first time among the three branches that I run now. It's good to meet great quality coffee at a reasonable price.
This is a peaceful place to enjoy coffee. There is some outdoor space outside the store and there are some benches. If there are not many people, it would be good to drink coffee there for a while.

Location can’t be beat. Tucked away on a side street away from busy city life. There’s a beautiful park nearby. The staff is warm and friendly. And, most importantly, the espresso is strong and delicious and the pastries look tempting. It’s a laidback coffee shop- not too fussy or sleek with space to sit and work or sip and go. It’s everything a coffee spot should be. Tables were sticky and the dust on the cool lamps hanging from the ceiling was pretty thick. A good scrubbing and PROOF would have 4 stars from my first visit. Can’t wait to come back.
All types of cold sweet yummy stuff. You can get something different each and every time u enter. You won’t be bored, and their always pushing something new and yummy. They’re doing something new with waffles but I didn’t have time to try it. I will next time and I’ll do a update on it. My Nieces convinced me to try frozen yogurt. For it being the first time trying yogurt, not bad. The cookies and cream taste like ice cream. The toppings just added to the taste. I like fact you can sample the different varieties before you buy.
