Excellent lunch. Deliciously crisp and cold champagne to start and then a lovely 6 course menu. Incredible flavours, creativity, presentation. High quality special and seasonal ingredients. Very nice service by a lady of Japanese origin. For anyone who loves Japanese food and culture, you should come here and indulge your senses. Can‘t wait to come back or try out their sister restaurant Yoshi by Nagaya.

Excellent Japanese restaurant. We had lunch with 6 menus. Unagi, Japanese seabream, yellow tail with yuzu, buri fish with radish, sushi, and Wagyu beef. Our favorite is the Wagyu beef, it was medium rare and it melts in the mouth. One of the best beef we ever had. Our next favorite is the seabream, it has a strong umami taste. The service was very good. It was a great experience.

We had a great night at Nagaya! It has the service and experience level you expect from a Michelin star restaurant. The dishes had really high quality and are very interesting combinations of typical Japanese ingredients. The yuzu desert was out of this world, never had a tastier dessert! If you are into Japanese cuisine, like next level dining.. I would recommend you to go here!

Compared to other 1 star restaurants, the prices for the full omakase menu are bit expensive.. however the quality of the ingredients is really high so therefore worth it.

Overal 5 stars! Staff was really friendly, good timing between dishes and outstanding food, perfect plating.

I just have to write a review after an amazing night . We were here 10 years ago and last night we came back. It’s still as great as it was. Their quality of food , the details, the taste , everything was amazing. It’s our favorite Michelin star restaurant. It’s worth every penny. I recommended this restaurant and will definitely revisit in the future 🙏🏼

🆗 Service was ok! We were not greeted, restaurant was empty but we had to wait for waiters to see and come to us and it took some while!
✅ Food: We ordered the 9 course menu and I personally only liked the only 2 dishes with fish

Of course you get good food quality here but you don’t really get an experience, the chef is using Japanese ingredients unknown to Europeans and that is interesting but no experience!!

I would like to give six stars, if possible! The best reason to visit Düsseldorf is this amazing Michelinstar restaurant. Yoshizumi NAGAYA is the creator of the best Japanese food I have ever eaten. Dinner at his restaurant, were he works together with his amazing wife and very professional sommelier, made our taste buds explode in firework of pleasure! Each bite was full of surprises and amazing combination s. And most of all - the quality! The quality of the fish or wagyu meat was the top - it just melted in the mouth ❤️🐟. I'm still remembering that experience! Amazing! Highly recommend to all looking for the best quality, serviss and willing to experience the best Japanese food in Düsseldorf or even - all Europe 😉❤️

Yes, it's definitely rather expensive, but it is worth every cent spent.

Simply magical and not at all stuck up. We had fun with the waiters and loved the food. Great place to eat an entire evening the most delicious art of food.
