A nice place for a visit to Düsseldorf. Close to the Media Harbour, which is Worte for a walk, public transportation at Franziusstrasse, friendly staff, calm at night. I recommend the place and the breakfast.
Comfortable large modern rooms. Probably just reaching time for a renovation . Large shower in good size bathroom,but open to room through glass. Very good breakfast.
Room service is a let down, often not coming until 5 pm or later which is not acceptable. Reception staff are helpful and great. If house keeping worked there would be 5 stars for service.

I had a fabulous time at the restaurant, decided to sit outside with a nice candle burner and a little blanket which was the perfect setting. The food came out very quickly and was presented really well. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming again.

I went to have dinner here approximately two weeks ago because it has nice reviews. But what i had was the worst Asian foods I've ever eaten in Germany and I'm Asian!! The beef was so hard and it's not easy to chew! Their homemade noodles was also uncooked! And it's not worth the price, too expensive for this such poor quality of foods!! I won't recommend this restaurant to anybody!! Don't waste your time and money!!
Me and my wife went to restaurant without expectations, but when we finished it really amazed us. First the service was really nice and fast, we asked for the Pekin duck menu and it was an incredible menu, flavor was incredible. I fully recommend to go there if you want to try a good Pekin duck. Please we ware that the place is small so it is better to reserve in advance

Definitely a must if you are visiting Dusseldorf. I would give more than 5 stars. The food, the service and the location were beyond my expectations.

Amazing location, right next to the river bank. Rooms are comfortable and large. I cannot say enough words on the staff, such warm and lovely people who were always at my service and mayed my stay rememberable. I enjoyed every second of my it.

The food is good, the restaurant is centrally located. I always saw this very busy so today decided to try it. The food was good, the ambience was okayish and service was fine as well. I would definitely visit again to try more dishes.

I could not agree more with the previous reviewers. Service *SUCKS* as well as the location in one of Düsseldorfs darkest corners but the Kebaps are nothing short of heavenly. They are roasted over charcoal fire and finely seasoned. Go there. Ignore the waiters, treat yourself to some excellent food.

Always start my trips to Düsseldorf here. Simple, fresh Turkush fare. Today I had lentil soup with fresh bread and a dash of lemon and kırmızı biber - €5,00. Spot on 👍

On our 5 day trip to the city we tried many asian restaurants. Cooking dad was our favorite. Great atmosphere, nice staff and awesome food. Can't wait to go back one day!
Visited alone on a weekday evening. The seating area is quite small but the place was still very quiet.
The food was incredible, both the chicken fingers with sweet chilli sauce, but especially the duck. The skin was crispy, almost to the crunch of pork crackling, but the meat was tender, and the vegetables, rice and sauce it was served with were all nice.

My only point of disappointment is that this place doesn't take any cards other than local German ones, at least when I visited in summer 2022. They didn't accept, VISA, Mastercard, or AMEX, and therefore I had to leave and find a nearby ATM.

Relativ angenehmes Bistro im Flughafen, aber leider auch dort die hohen Preise. Bei den Bäckern, z. B. Gegenüber A49 kostet das ganze genau die Hälfte.

It is %100 I loved eggplant kebab it was like original taste. There was a Iraqi manager who take care of me very well. I asked if All is halal but I didnot see any certification or written text. Soup was good too. Clean and hospitality was great.
Outstanding Turkish food experience. Visiting Duesseldorf from the US when we ended up here by chance because our original dinner plans fell through. Our waiter was so kind and very helpful. He suggested selections to help us out. We'll stop in here again next time we're in Duesseldorf.

Outstanding Thai food at a very reasonable price. Talking food quality, this is definitely one of the better Thai restaurants in Duesseldorf. Talking price, I had on two occasions different vegetarian options, each one was 8 euros, i.e. really low priced, and just great. However, if you simply want a fancy restaurant and pay for the building, then this is probably not the best place for you.
Portion size, veggies and meat were okay. We ordered via wolt. One dish should be curry, but the whole curry sauce was spilled over the rice. The other dish also spilled a little over the rice. The curry should also be spicy, but it was the most mild curry we ever tasted.

Was delicious. Exactly what I needed now. I'm wondering why the average review is so bad. I had a Cappuccino and Carbonara. Also the waiters are welcoming you with a big smile and are very kind. Price wise is it like in a normal restaurant or even a bit cheaper (I'm from Berlin, wasn't in Düsseldorfs City)

. The Satay mix : Prawn was good, but the rest were again too dry for my taste
. Pina colada was too sweet
. Did not taste authentic to me.
About service unsatisfactory, I asked 3 times for the bill, and waited 15 mins no one came.
I had to walk to the waiter and get my bills.

Great place to try some Peking duck! The starter portions are on the small side which allows you to try more options!
Good Pho northern style, they bring the same northern street service and hygiene here, which may be quite rude to some people, but I find it just funny :)) In the end I go to a restaurant for good food, and here they serve them 👍
So glad we visited this place! Affordable prices, huge portion, and the food is delicious! Thanks to sauces on the table I had even better experience because I like my food more spicy than Germans😅. The staff is friendly and and view is nice, you can seat next to the window and watch central streets and people. The only negative thing is the smell from the kitchen that your clothes will absorb.

The chicken satay was served at our table with the option to flambe it as the waiter had lit the plate and showed us how we could do it.
We ordered a crispy duck too, the duck meat was really well cooked and was so tasty, but we were hoping it to be a little spicy as mentioned on the menu but it wasn't spicy at all.
The only sad part of our experience was we ordered Pad Thai and it was extremely tasty but unfortunately found a huge long plastic piece in it that I had almost half chewed and had to pull out of my mouth.
We informed the staff and they were kind enough to replace our noodles, but the noodles they served the second time was made in a hurry and compromised a lot on the taste. Was quite upset that the replacement of pad Thai was not at all comparable to the first.
Other than that, this was well worth the experience! The staff are very kind and friendly and made us feel like we are on a holiday in Thailand!

Today, I wanted to have lunch at a Thai restaurant. On the way I passed a delicious Sushi restaurant and some others but didn't stop by because I wanted to eat Thai food. Told my husband at home that I want to eat Rad Na (I'm Thai but my cooking skills are limited). They did not have it on the menu card but the chef prepared it for me and added also a half of fresh lemon beside the dish. I almost forgot to take a picture. Very delicious food and very attentive employees who really care for the guest. In summary, delicious food in a beautiful setting with warm atmosphere. It feels like coming back home to Thailand. Despite my initial concerns about the potential for digestive issues due to the oil and spices, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the meatballs and chicken I ordered were both delicious and did not cause any problems. So first of all with all do respect to my asian friends but the noodle are dry no sauce and only the taste of paprika i dont know in what world the chef here lives in but i highly recommend another recipe fow asia wok noodles and 2nd i really think the workers their should be a bit more friendly when we ask if everything is there because its not nice to pay my money and not have what i ordered in the bag i wont br stepping back there and im sure my friends wont either Happy new year
I went here several times. But I kept being ignored by the waiters. As if they did not want to serve me. Every time I had to serve myself. I even had to take my own drinks. I never write a bad review for no reason and I can always understand when there are circumstances. But this is something I have never experienced in other restaurants. The amount of rudeness is overwhelming. Today was my last time here. I am past that point where good service and manners matter more than anything else. Regardless what others might think, I would give other local grill restaurants a chance above this arrogant shrink flated overpriced "restaurant".
A small pick-up restaurant for super tasty Thai food. We ordered 3 main dishes, Gaeng Pa Neng Beef, Kauw Pad Duck and Gui Tieaw Pad Thai Duck. Everything was cooked fresh but also prepared very fast (~15 mins). Portions are quite big. The owner is super friendly.

Arrived in the evening with my wife and child! I took 2 ordinary seabass fish from the window, in the prices of the menu the most expensive fish is up to $ 40! the result ordered tea and ayran and my daughter ordered rice and chicken! the result killed me with a bill of 259 € for a Turkish restaurant, I will attach a check too! I called the owner and the waiters and they told me it was fish 🐠 not ordinary, but rare and the price was 180€ for 2 servings! The result was that they took money from me, I left without a mood
We got the appetizer for two. The presentation of the food was amazing. Also very delicious and absolutely worth the money. It was unfortunate that the appetizer got very fast cold, even though it was served with a „flame“. The cocktail from the ananas was very sweet and fruity.

I complained that the client next to me was continuesly smoking in a rather tight area, he answered rudely that there are ashtrays on the tables, and so, it is open air.

It's always understaffed and the tables are always dirty. But "cash only" on an INTERNATIONAL airport is a whole another level.
Really poor quality. No idea how this place has Jamie Oliver's name attached to it. The toastie arrived cold, with the external surfaces barely heated above room temperature. Staff we're nice enough, if not exactly enthusiastic. Coffee tasted like one of those cheap ones from a machine in a subway.

If you are after food quality, this is the best place. If you are after good service, this is not a good place!
If you want service, don’t go there. If you want good kabob, yes, it’s a good place. They are very busy most of the time and the servants are not organized.
Prices like 7-12 euros for one plate, 9 is typical. Drinks like 3-4 euros. Very delicious: both rice as noodles. A great location!

The place looks nice, the sandwich was dry and without taste, stuff did not speak proper English (would be expected in airport). Prices are as at the airport (6.9 € for a sandwich). Couple of tables had chargers.

See why this place is rated so badly. Came here out of desperation to buy one overpriced bottle of water for my parched fianceé as our flight was boarding. Asked the first male staff member if he could just quickly scan it through as it's one water bottle and we had to rush. Of course not because that might actually involve being helpful. He pointed to the back of a long queue. Waited ages while people ordered coffees and food. Then I was asked by the sarcastic woman at the till if I was in a "bad mood" when I complained. Not before meeting you! You could tell they enjoyed being rude and impertinent. All this for one water bottle. Thank you for the worthless and rude non-service. I imagine this place only survives because it has no competition. Can't believe it has anything to do with Jamie Oliver. Avoid this place if you can and take your money elsewhere.
Terrible.. they microwaved my baguette including the salad. Big queues and no staff to support the bar or pizzas… avoid this place if you can..

We took 4 Gangs Menu. Need to book 1 day in advance but it totally worth it. We had a lovely dinner. Service is pretty fast. The Peking Ente wrapped in the pancake is for sure the highlight. The skin is really crispy, meat is fresh, thick and moist. The soup is a bit salty for my taste. Reis portion is very small. For 2 people and a tea and bier, we cost total 60€ (Oct 2021).

Beaware and check the cost of what you order, and furthermore check the money you get back from the waiter because may be you get 1 Turkish Lira instead of 1 Euro ( 1 Turkish lira equal to 10 Cents) its happened with me.

I got my order before I was even done paying. If you're in a hurry, consider that this place seems to be faster even than bakeries. But with food, speed comes at a price. The food tastes bland with a weird aftertaste. And even though I was there at lunch, things like the chicken didn't exactly look fresh. This was the worst meal I had in the past weeks. Worse yet, shortly after eating there, my stomach started to grumble, like other reviews pointed out, and I had a 5 hour train ride ahead of me... I won't go there again.

The place is located a bit outside the center, but worth the travel. It's very calm and a great place to have a nice meal. The duck curry was one of the best I had. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you like Asian cousine, this a great place to have a nice meal for a great price!

Best Döner around! They also have a lot of options for Turkish cuisine, not only döner. Ans what I personally like fresh and tasty salads!

Amazing place, super cozy and great personnel. The coffee is great and there is a relaxed atmosphere. I only got charged once for my order so that was amazing.

Best Türkish place I have visited so far. Meat here is well done, has a smoky flavour. I like the ambiance and one can enjoy unlimited free tea.

I ate there twice. First time the food was average. Second time ended up with poisoning or just too much glutamat. I had the most horrible stomach pain in my life, diarrhea and was puking for some hours. My stomach is still curing some days after that incident. I strongly advise you to avoid that place as long as you care for your health.
Unfortunately, time and self-deceipt led to this mass-processed, factory food experience that isn't even particularly cheap. There are next-to-no options to choose from. You can forget french fries and, amazingly enough, even tzatziki is a no-go(!). Yes, the place nevertheless claims to even be Turkish somehow. Southern hospitality is nowhere to be found, either, by the way.
The food itself is decent in large enough portions. Still, the "dining" experience is something any non-domesticated animal will feel the need to wash off and never experience again.
