Stayed here on our way to Boston for classes. I asked my boyfriend can’t you drive to school from here!!!! The only thing I didn’t like was they carry no name brand sodas or snacks other than that I enjoyed the bar and the bar maid Stacy was very nice. Loved my standard room, very clean, which means EVERYTHING to me!! Very unique place. I had a great stay!!! ♥️

This was my second stay for the entire work week. I enjoyed my first stay and decided to stay again being a Hilton Silver member. The staff at the restaurant and in general are friendly and professional. I did have issues with the shuttle service they provide. The front desk was simply not connected to the driver and provided wrong information on pick-up times resulting into long wait times. I reached out to the Hotel manager with an email providing them direct and detailed feedback. It is very surprising that even after 4 business days, I have yet to hear from the manager. This speaks a lot about the customer experience and what they truly are in receiving feedback and trying to improve !! Didn't expect this from a responsible individual !!

We had been wanting to stay at this property since it first opened due to other Hotel properties looking outdated, however it had not opened when we came last year. This time around we were able to stay here, and loved the modern/elegance of this hotel, the friendly staff, the fitness center, and the location of the property. The location was a quick 5–10-minute drive to the Yale campus and provided easy access to the freeway. Furthermore, it was right next door to Ikea, and with moving our daughter in made it that much more convenient when shopping.
The breakfast, although a limited menu, was just to my liking and the coffee (black) was pretty darn good. Unfortunately, the espresso machine was broken so we did not get to try a latte. Overall, the hotel was great, but the staff was really phenomenal and made you feel welcomed. Such a great experience and will be our go to in the future.

Beautiful hotel with an interesting history. It’s a fully solar powered hotel with fun tech features like electric shades. Only downside was the temperature of the room. The AC only goes to 67, and we were on the side with a beautiful water view and afternoon sun. It was pretty hot the first night but the second night we closed the blackout shades in the afternoon and it was better. Would be great any other time of year or maybe on a lower floor. Would definitely stay there again! Nicest staff we’ve encountered in many years. Great little restaurant on site. Overall superb.

The people that work at this hotel are amazing. Everyone we encountered was professional, polite, kind, helpful and friendly. They definitely hire and train well. The hotel was clean, quiet and welcoming. We did have slight issue with room temperature seemingly changing on its own and not responding well for us from the touch screen unit. A suggestion for accessibility would be not everything needs to be low for wheelchair users. The beds were unusually low and difficult to get the wheelchair User in/out of bed. The other would be the doors at the hotel entrance respond slowly and open outward making it difficult for wheelchair users. The hotel isn't in the best area for walking. However, that being said we felt safe on the hotel grounds. It was convenient to access wooster street and grab some pies from Pepe's and Sally's and enjoyed Mexican food from the food trucks on the Long Wharf. We did eat at the hotel restaurant BLDG too, the food and service were superb. I loved the hotel's mission and commitment to the environment as well. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and were impressed by hotel staff and cleanliness of the hotel

Excellent experience staying at the Hotel Marcel. Very modern and well thought out hotel, a very European/Scandinavian design, which was fantastic. No wasted space in the room at all. Everything had a purpose, plentiful chargers/outlets, lots of space for everything considering the size of the room. The history of the building is also incredible. Location is incredibly convenient with easy access to I95/I91 as well as public transit and within walking distance of downtown. The BLDG restaraunt in the lobby is very accommodating and staff throughout the building are friendly and helpful. Will absolutely stay here again if I am in the area.

Loved the modern feel. Minimalist room decor but very functional. I love that everything had its purpose and it was thoughtfully designed. We were probably sleeping in an old office! There were lots of people with teens who I imagine were checking out colleges. Good landing spot for that. My only concern was breakfast service was slow. The food was good though. I would go again.
