This is the turnabout for the river with a nice walkway along the water. There are lots of restaurants and pubs along here and a really nice garden.

Churchill (Southgate) Bridge - The Junction between the A367 and the A36 is an elongated roundabout underneath the Railway line. Originally, a much smaller roundabout existed here, using the twin portals of Brunel's Railway Bridge, but when the area was re-planned in the 1960s, Wells Road was re-aligned and the Churchill Bridge built, to allow a much larger roundabout to be installed. Fascinating castle inspired architecture.

This place is just a couple of minutes walk from both the bus and train station! This place is an absolutely wonderful destination to visit if you want to go somewhere nice on holiday! The overall scenery is amazing, the town is packed full of wonderful people and the shops are a great place to spend your holiday money! Really nice area and I would highly recommend it. 5 stars from me!

The riverside walk can get a bit dull after a while. However, you can enjoy a good walk here every so often if you mix it up a bit and don't visit too regularly. I'm getting on a bit so a few more seats for my wife and I would be very helpful.
