Fabulous views, interesting historical facts and stories. Free visitors centre. £1.00 toll to cross the bridge. All upkeep of the bridge is paid for from the tolls. The gorge is also home to many specific plants. The Bristol White beam being found no where else on earth.

Really cool bridge between a part and another part of Bristol.

To be honest it is not super big but you can get to see most of Bristol and get some good pictures around the area.

It also connects Bristol with a big park where you can find a miniature railway which you can ride and there is a golf club nearby as well.

Honestly it was a great experience that I would recommend everyone to live.

It's a 1 pound toll to drive 1 way over the bridge and another pound to drive back over it.

You get the best view of the bridge from Clifton Observatory and the hill overlooking it.

Designed by Brunel at the age of 24, it's a staggering creation far above the River Avon.

In my opinion it's one of the best views in the UK and I'd recommend everyone to go and see it.

An iconic symbol of Bristol and must see free to visit tourist attraction (but cars pay a toll) with fantastic views over Avon Gorge. Designed by legendary engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel it took 33 years to build as various issues halted construction. It also provides a route to walk from Clifton across to the 850 acre Ashton Court, also worth a visit.

Fascinating, looks like a diamond necklace, good for sight seeing, beautiful view of Bristol City at night. Over the hill you get to see the padlocks where lovers make a pact for their love.

A sad thing about the bridge is many people have committed suicide on this bridge because of divorce, loss of their home because of mortgages. Highly recommended.

Nice and Beautiful view! You can have a picnic on the grass or enjoy the view having a drink in the observatory.

Excellent location to see the Balloon’s accent during the Balloon fiesta.

Lovely old bridge that's not only a great piece of engineering, but looks beautiful spanning over the River Avon and suspended between the gorge at Clifton.
This iconic structure must be among one of the beautiful landmarks of the South West of England and well worthy of a visit
