Pizza at the Brick Oven

Super friendly owner who shared all about the backstory of this cosy pizzeria. The pizza itself was to die for. We got the pizzeria special and the crust was crispy, the meats were juicy and the tomato base was perfectly tangy. 10/10 recommend to anyone stopping by or nearby college students wanting to hang out at a chill spot. They close late: 3am.

I’m writing this review at 4am because I didn’t want to forget to give this business their flowers. This is probably the best pizza I’ve had in a long time if not ever. The atmosphere is also very nice. I love the outdoor seating option. It’s a great place to grab a bite to eat if you’re hungry after a night out. I love that this business is open until 4am! What more can you ask for? The quality of the pizza is amazing and it’s so fresh and authentic. You can tell the owner takes his business very seriously and he’s also very kind. The price is worth it because you don’t taste pizza like this often. Thank you!

Best tasting pizza in nyc ct area. This is staple of New Haven. Owner is a very friendly person, can tell he is a down to earth caring person. I wish they made this closer to where I live! The locals are very lucky to have this pizzeria nearby!

We stopped by New Haven on the way from Boston to New York, and the exterior of the shop grabbed our attention, prompting us to stop for a meal. There were enough people in line, but the staff and Kadir (the owner; hope I spelled his name correctly) were very friendly and helpful. We had a good chat while enjoying an excellent, memorable dinner before flying back to Japan. Thanks for the hospitality and the great pizza.

I got a half and half brick oven special and the clam casino, the clam casino was better than any of the other places I tried in New Haven, definitely check out this place! The owner is also extremely friendly and sociable!

This place is amazing. I got the eggplant parm hot sub and it’s incredible. The owner is nice and takes the effort to talk kindly to everyone. I was really impressed. They bring in fresh wood for the brick oven often. This place is great, I will definitely go back. Best sandwich I’ve had in New Haven. One of the only places in the city to get food after midnight! Even the diners are closed!
