What a delightful hidden gem! We stopped for lunch and were treated to world-class cocktails, beautifully presented main dishes (we took the quail and the scallops), and delightful wine pairings - all in a cosy, old-world country pub atmosphere accompanied by superb, flawless, professional service. We'll be back!
Service was excellent from the reservation booking over the phone up to the service at the table. Staff is friendly and fluently switching from French (me) and English (a Russian friend). Dishes were fresh and tasty (oysters, wagu steak and chicken salads). Price is reasonable for the quality!

The interiors of the restaurant take one back in time and the objects on display which seem to be collected over time, tell a story, making the experience more unique. The food was absolutely delicious and worth the 20 minute drive from Ayer's Cliff with one of the best services we have experienced.

Ohh my god this place is incredible. I want to eat here every day. I am looking forward to my next visit.
Food and setting was beautiful. The fish of the day (doré) I ate had a lovelcream sauce with steamed room vegetables. My husband and father-in-law had the plate of the day, Bavet and fries. And mu mother-in-law had the aged beef burger. I loved the dessert a choux créme aux poured with Chantilly cream and chocolate crisps the went well with some peppermint tea.
Wonderful dinner after an afternoon of driving. Fireplace was on due to the cool evening and lent the perfect ambiance for a casual dinner. I had the burger and my wife has the pasta after our squash soup starters. So good and well done. It ended a perfect day.
Each dish is very delicate and delicious. The staff are warm and friendly. If you like to enjoy delicious food while enjoying the scenery, then this restaurant is highly recommended!
