Was worth the drive just for the views! Room was clean. Resturant food was very good. Wish we had of booked more than 1 night.

Having accommodation and food so accessible to the rugged ranges of Tasmanian wilderness is so wonderful. It's like a different world - the drive in features many ranges and peaks. Well worth a couple of nights. Good day walking is also available.

Good accommodation, lovely view from the dining room, staff obliging and efficient. My room was basic but very adequate.

Had a great time, loved it.
Bit strange the single beds were in the living room, but luckily our 8yo happily transitioned from the double bed (bedroom) to the single bed (living room)

Stayed for 3 nights in a twin room. Clean and comfortable. In a relatively isolated place, I thought great value. Great food in restaurant, staff were excellent. Good facilities
- gym and pool. Found plenty to occupy us in the local area, even though some wintery weather. Not many people around, which was for me a bonus.

Was here for 3 magical nights. Other than what others have said about the hilarious violent sounding bathroom pipes and thin walls, the rooms are really comfortable, meals are great, and the views are out of this world. The price you pay is more than reasonable for how special and remote this lodge is.
I usually travel alone and everyone there made me feel at ease. The staff deserve endless praise as they’re all fantastic and super hardworking.
Special shout out to Zac who gave perfect recommendations for local hikes! The ocean could indeed be seen from the top of the mountain.
