Came here for afternoon tea with my grandparents, mum and sister. I have been to several high end afternoon tea's in London and would definitely recommend this as the best. The totally indulgent decor, amazing service, and perfect location really make you feel like you're experiencing something very special. The food is divine, and the tea selection is perfect.
Amazing stay, the service is perfect, location for tourists is great and the room is big + the bed was super comfy. I would recommend it for family with a new born as all facilities are there to enjoy your time!

The hotel has a perfect location in the middle of the city centre of London, but it is amazingly very quiet. The people are all nice, the room was nicely decorated and super clean. The SPA and swimming pool are an oasis of calmness in the middle of the business of London (unfortunately the time restrictions for the families). Breakfast is good.

We had a charming after tea here! Such a top-roof level place, great food, fantastic history and my lovely family! We all experienced a beautiful 2 hours like reading a time-honored story.
If I could rate The Hotel Café Royal 10/5 I would! I went to the Oscar Wilde room in order to celebrate a birthday.
We had Champaign afternoon tea and the staff made sure our every need was attended to.
From the moment you step foot outside, there is someone to take care of you from the doormen, concierge to the waiters/ waitresses.
The food and drink selection was superlative! I had the Oscar Wilde blend for tea and it came out blue, which then changed colour as I added some lemon juice to it!
The building itself is steeped in history and has a few marks to prove it! Although all the stories add to the character of the room!
Truly an experience I won’t forget and I can’t wait to go back!

Our stay at the Hotel was more than amazing. Every member from the staff from housekeeping till front desk was so friendly, helpful and truly amazing. Best 5 star service I’ve experienced in a while.

Returning to this place to celebrate our wedding anniversary seems to have become our tradition. Yesterday at noon, we met the manager of the restaurant and the service was very professional and great! I highly recommend this beautiful afternoon tea restaurant. Will definitely come back!
