Our inaugural visit to Sushi Republic left us with mostly positive impressions. The parking situation can be a tad tight, especially for larger SUVs navigating the ramp. However, for most vehicles, it’s manageable.

The food offerings were decent overall. We particularly enjoyed the fried calamari and found the fried udon to be excellent. The sushi and sashimi platter impressed us with its freshness, although it’s worth noting that they don’t use traditional vinegar rice like authentic Japanese sushi.

The fried rice was a standout—flavorful and satisfying. On the other hand, the chicken skewer and fried tuna mushroom left us somewhat underwhelmed.

The restaurant’s atmosphere and service, however, were delightful. For Americanized Japanese cuisine, the food quality is commendable. Plus, the pricing is quite reasonable. Overall, a positive experience.

The service is great. We went there on a Friday before the Katt Williams show started & it wasn't busy. We were seated quickly. I ordered shrimp & scallop teriyaki & my son stir fry noodles seafood, but it was super spicy which my son loved. If I'm in Greensboro again I would definitely stop by.

This was my first time at sushi republic. Me and my daughter started out with the AHI Hawaiian appetizer and it was very good! I ordered the Ninja Roll and my daughter had the yellow tail roll and soup. The food came out super fast! My Ninja roll was great. My daughter said the yellow tail was good but that she preferred another sushi place for that particular roll. The atmosphere is nice and cozy, very relaxing. Our total bill was 48.00 which wasn’t bad for everything we got. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants good sushi! I will definitely be going back!

Great atmosphere and place for any date. Make sure that you ask for the server Jack because he made excellent recommendations for the different sushi rolls. I made sure to order the Snap Dragon, the Red Dragon, the Red Ninja and the Escape. Out of all of these I was mainly impressed with the Red Ninja and the Escape.

Me and my wife went to SR to eat Saturday evening, and got there when they opened (get there at 5). This place is amazing, the atmosphere, the service and especially the food! Our new go to spot!!
P. S. The wife mentioned how good the drinks were! Gotta try purple rain!

The restaurant was packed with a 20-30m wait so we sat at the bar. I ordered sushi and my husband a variety of apps to make a meal. I couldn’t believe how quickly our food came despite how busy they were. Oh and the waiter (a guy who has been there a long time) kept our drinks full too! As always it was delicious too. It’s absolutely my favorite place for sushi 🍣 in Greensboro!

This spot has fab food, sweet servers, and it’s so cozy inside. I had a sushi lunch special and my bill with a $4 tip it was only $16. It’s my new favorite for sure!
