Lofts On Lee

I cannot quite emphasize enough how poor of a decision it was to live here. On top of the rooms themselves being massively overpriced- $900/ month/ person for the 4 bed/ 4 bath apartment, I was also anticipating to be treated like an adult, which the university does not. Room checks twice a semester, invading my tiny dorm sized room to ensure that I don't have candles in my room, space heaters, or other contraband. I was not given the privilege of visiting the space before I moved in, but if I had, I would have noticed that the busy highway right next to the building- West Gate City Bvd- is extremely loud and the thin walls of the building block very little sound, making it very difficult to sleep at night. I literally dread being in my room every day. I am begging you, if you are looking at UNCG grad programs and don't know where to move to, don't move to the lofts on lee building. It is probably the worst mistake I have made in a very long time, if not ever.

Really close to the street so you constantly hear cars go by, even street racing at like 3am. But overall a safe place to live.

Also the walls are REALLY thin and when I used to live there, they moved me in with undergraduates. So you could here them....ya know...getting busy.

Things have changed since others have lived here. I absolutely love it. Quiet, private, and secure. Parking is something to desired, but this is college. What did you expect?!
