Dai Ichi Sushi Japanese Restaurant

We had the worst food and experience at this sushi restaurant. Do NOT waste your money. Both Special Rolls were not palatable and we informed our server who did nothing about it. They could have apologized and reduced our bill of $56 but they didn’t. Tempura appetizer was greasy….dont waste your time !

The food was great! The place is clean & the staffs are nice! I spent Mother’s Day here with my mom, it’s not all you can eat sushi place, they also offered take outs,

Despite being a busy day as Mother's Day, they were able to accommodate our little party of 3 without reservation. Food was delicious, staff friendly. A bit slow than expected but it was very busy and you could see the staff running up and down. I ordered a chirascha dinner and my only complaint is that the slice of avocado was so tiny! I want to come back, menu has so many authentic varieties. You won't be disappointed.

Very friendly staff, drove the kids in the rain to wherever they wanted to go. This place won because they served "karate chicken!" They also had plain fried Udon. The meal was $150 for 2 adults and 4 children under 8yrs.
For adults the food was great (a bit of a kick in some dishes). Good flavour in most dishes.
Crispy pork was delicious.

Dai Ichi is one of my favourites. I’ve been to this restaurant for dine in and takeout many times over the last few years. Love the Japanese decor. For dine in, I highly recommend the private rooms (accommodates 2-4 people) for more privacy. They have a buzzer at each table whenever you want service. Great selection of Japanese and Korean dishes on menu. Food is always fresh and delicious. The service is consistently great.

First visit to Dai Ichi Sushi, and I'm sure not the last!
Had a great experience: the sushi/sashimi was excellent, the service was very good, and the atmosphere was quite nice (we had one of the booths which was quite private).
Definitely recommended.

Service was great, ordered the sushi dinner. The food was average for sushi, although it didn’t taste too fresh. The dynamite rolls were good tho, great flavour.
