First time trying this authentic Korean restaurant in the Midland and McNicoll area

Atmosphere is open and inviting with lots of room for everyone.

Food is pretty good. Ordered the Korean Fried Chicken and cold noodles. Loved the fried hot chicken

The service is pleasant and nice. Also really liked the traditional Korean appetizers
Beautiful ambience and delicious food. It ticked all the boxes for our authentic experience. Will definitely be back. Prices were fair, portions were good and food overshone my expectations.
Waitress pressures you to tip and makes a big scene if you don’t. Causes a horrible atmosphere. But I was hungry so I stayed. The restaurant wasn’t even busy but after 10 calls the waitress continues to ignore you and doesn’t acknowledge you need service. By the time the bill comes, that’s when she runs up to you with the machine. After I paid, she demands for more payment. Really?? No wonder the restaurant isn’t busy.
The flavours here are authentic and my family comes regularly. The chicken and beef ramen have a very clean taste and come with a lot of noodles. All the side dishes are tasty as well, especially the japchae and fish cakes. Other dishes we enjoy are the jjampong, gamjatang, japchae rice, kimbap and definitely the katsu! The service is a bit slower sometimes but there’s few workers for a big space.
I recently had a meal at Sumi, and I have to say, it fell short of my expectations. The main issue was the wait time – even for a simple dish like tofu soup, the wait was much longer than I anticipated. On the positive side, I can say that the taste of the food itself met my expectations.
I found the server's friendliness to be lacking. A more welcoming attitude would undoubtedly make diners feel more comfortable and valued. The absence of the customary side dishes at the beginning of the meal was noticeable as well. These small bites add a special touch to Korean dining and help set the tone for the rest of the experience. Serving them before the main dish would be a welcomed improvement.
On a regular basis, I find myself patronizing this establishment for the exquisite crab in savory sauce and the invigorating cold seafood sashimi noodles they offer. The taste of both dishes consistently exceeds expectations, although I must admit that the grilled meat option tends to be rather mediocre in comparison. The quality of service, on the other hand, is noteworthy, and it's worth mentioning that the recent experience is a testament to that. Nevertheless, it appears that in recent times, there has been a discernible decrease in portion sizes—a change that could potentially be attributed to the ongoing phenomenon of inflation.

marinated raw crab was great! bbq platter for 3-4 and a pair of crabs was plenty for 5 people. Had to wait 45 minutes to sit down though, even later at 9pm

We got the AYCE lunch deal for $20.99, such a steal! There's a time limit of 1.5 hours but that's more than enough in my opinion. Service was fast, waiters are friendly and the meats were seasoned deliciously! Would definitely come here again.
Best authentic Korean food restaurant in Vancouver. Most of their food is made from traditional recipes and no compromise.
If you are novice for Korean food then I recommend this place to start your journey for the new world of Korean cuisine.

I had the marinated raw crab combo and it was sooo good, however you shouldn't order if it's your 1st date or if you're not comfortable to eat with your hand and suck the meat off the shell 😅 can be kinda messy. The crab came with rice & tofu soup.

My husband had beef short rib stew, it was well cooked, very tender, easy to get off the bone but the taste was a bit too sweet for me.

Servers were okay but you will need to ring the bell for their attention. What prevents me from rating 5 stars is they only give you 90 mins to dine in. Overall, it was a good experience, we will come back.

ok this place is actually SO good, I love Korean food but wow, this was just so tasty.

Came with a large party (6+ people) with a reservation. I was impressed with how promptly our party was served, food was all hot and appeared to be fresh. Got to try so many different dishes and they did NOT disappoint. I ordered the sundubu-jjigae which was amazing. It's the first time I've had ground beef in the sundubu-jjigae which was surprising.

Pretty reasonably priced, considering portions were large and we were able to share food and still have food leftover.

Will definitely be back to try more!

My partner and I went here for AYCE at lunch. I’ve been to Korean Grill House before and enjoy the BBQ!

We got the pork, beef, chicken and my partner got the fish fillet. The flavours were delicious and perfect! It wasn’t overpowering and wasn’t too bland.

We also got the side dishes rice, spicy bean sprout, potato’s and tofu. I loved their potato’s, the seasoning was great. The tofu was also delicious and wasn’t too soft. I wasn’t a huge fan of the spicy sprouts, thought they were dry. I recommend getting the regular sprout and adding some chilli oil (which I loved).

I wish the lunch included veggies with the BBQ, since meat and rice is quite heavy. I also wish there were more meat/flavour options!

The service was quick, I think the worker to customer table ratio was like 1:1 since we went at opening. The food came out fast and the place was quite clean. I would recommend if you’re trying korean BBQ for the first time since the price was 22.99 for AYCE.

The place delivers a genuine taste of Korea, serving up generous portions with reasonable price. We ordered seafood noodle and fried chicken for two, and we couldn't even finish half. The noodle soup was rich and flavorful, while the fried chicken was on point - not too saucy, super juicy, and tender since it's fried fresh.
However, service could be more efficient. There's this wall dividing the restaurant, and it seems like the servers don't come to the other side too often. While service could be quicker, the food quality is a compelling reason to return, perhaps with a few more people
Foods are just ok to be honest but the service I got from here was awesome especially from Jay I guess he is a manager of this restaurant. Thanks for great service.

Bad experience ever, I would leave zero stars if I could. The food is mediocre for the price and to make it even worse it is not even close to authentic. You should not call yourself a Korean restaurant. We had Deluxe combo but the quality of meat was awful, especially chicken; lots of skin and fat. I’ve never had chicken with the yellow fat in other restaurants. If you’re chef, you must know that the yellow fat should be removed.
The kimchi was sweet!! Whatttt!!! It shouldn’t be…
The kimchi soup was so terrible, I don’t know how to explain because I couldn’t call it kimchi soup.
On top of that, the bill already included service charges. If you don’t notice, you will pay twice.
Finally, l realized that no Korean customers in the restaurant so…

The bbq was pretty good and a good amount of food for each combo. A little pricey. The service is good, you have to ask for everything and the wait staff won’t really check up on you. The place was very rundown and felt really dirty. Walking around the restaurant to the washroom, sitting at the table and just the overall atmosphere was dirty and uncomfortable.

My favorite korean restaurant in BC! It’s very impressive how all their food tastes good. However if I were to choose the best menu it would be the kimchi soup👌

The BBQ-prime beef boneless short rib was really fresh and delicious with well marbled. And the salad was also fresh and well seasoned. The servers were so kind to help us cook the BBQ whole time. Other soup and meal were good and the soy sauce marinated raw crabs were good just I ate in Korea.
I would like to come back again to enjoy wonderful Korean BBQ and meals.

Improved food! I haven't come here for a long time but recently decided to give it another shot and it was quite a good experience. We had the cold noodle soup, which is perfect for these warmer days. In the broth is some crushed ice which also keeps the temperature nice and cold! We also had the Korean pancake. It's crispy, crunchy and delicious! Their fried dumplings were also surprisingly tasty. Will definitely come back, especially for the cold noodle soup!
Uber eats order. The sweet sour pork is terrible. For $30 you get to eat batter. I say each piece is 10% pork content, the rest is all batter. You get a disgusting after feeling of bloat from fried batter. Everything else was good though. Picture below shows how much batter you get per peice.

My friend heard that the restaurant was good. We ordered bulgogi, dak galbi, Ttekboki carbonara, seafood pancake and cold noodles. The food and service did not disappoint.

My friend loved the cold noodles, Ttekboki carbonara, bulgogi and dak galbi. I was a bit disappointed with the seafood pancake as it was too doughy.
first time here and the food is amazing!!!! side dishes are very tasty and quite a lot which is fantastic! I am not from this area but whenever I come by I will definitely eat here always!!! this is a delicious spot to eat has very hearty korean food and hits the spot!!!
Food was great and the service by Andy 1 and Andy 2 was fantastic. They made sure we had all that we needed, and were pleasant throughout the night. The BBQ combos are good value. We enjoyed our group dinner here.
Went to Royal Seoul’s House Restaurant twice in a week to celebrate my birthday ❤️ I had such a wonderful time and extremely grateful to Andy 1 and Andy 2 for the accommodation. The food was fresh and huge! They were delicious and for large groups we had a great deal for our money! Service was fast, efficient and clean!

We will definitely be back! We had such a wonderful time! ☀️♥️🇵🇭

Shoutout to Andy 1 and 2 for taking care of us and making our experience so much fun!

We ordered BBQ, raw beef and raw crab during our visit yesterday. It was a lot of work to eat the crab so the BBQ griller just kept burning however the waitress was so kind to help us cook the BBQ meat the whole time while greeting other customers. We would definitely come back again!
The fried chicken here was delicious!! Such huge pieces and so crispy. We ordered the bone-in spicy one. My favorite dish out of our three.

We also got Beef Tofu Soup & Takoyaki. All good - no complaints :) They have quite the extensive menu.

The table has a call button for service which was really nice. I much prefer the button rather than have them check in with us every so often.

Would come again!
One of my favourite spots around Lougheed. It closes at 2 o'clock so it ensures the good times with your friends go as long as the night takes you.
Tried their cold noodle, the noodle is great but the soup is bland. Seafood cake is alright. Service is soso looks like they are short staffed.
I have been here a couple of times with my friend and have always felt satisfied. The portion is big and the taste is great, so worthed!

In the pic is the pork cutlet set and I try a small portion of my friend's fish cake udon. So goood.

One thing for sure this spicy pork bone soup was DELICIOUS. The soup was packed with flavor and the meat was the most tender thing and wasn’t too spicy at all! Would 10/10 come back for this dish.
Spicy rice cake with cheese was decent too. Wish they added more cheese because that little amount is not worth 3$. Texture of rice cake was perfect though and the sauce was mild in spice and not too overpowering in flavor.
In the special menu we got the spicy braised monkfish and the seafood was so fresh and delicious. Once you’re done with the seafood they mix rice in with seaweed green onion and black pepper I believe which makes a nice crispy fried rice.
Overall experience was great and the staff helped us make the food and had great smiles!
I would come back 😌
Place was pretty expensive, but some of the food was good.
The BBQ pork was really good, onions were cooked and there were slices of rice cake which enhanced the experience.
Galbi was tasty but dried out.
The budae jigae was horrendous.
Side dishes were there.
Drove from seattle to try spicy pork soup and it was totally worth the drive. Flavor of broth was so rich and delicious. Spice level isn’t as spicy as it looks and level of sodium was perfect as well. Perfect food to eat after hangover and rainy days (all year around i guess 🤣) They give you so much meat inside your soup so I didn’t even need rice. Intestine soon dae was also delicious as well~ i will definitely be back whenever i get the chance ~! Thank you for great service as well~

This is really top quality. I came here first time based on reviews. Was on my own, so cant order much to try. The chicken wings at next table looked so yummy! But min at 10 pcs.
Instead, i ordered their famous cheese balls (min at 3 pcs)! Just superb!!! They did it so so well. The texture is chewy enough, yet not greasy! U have to eat them hot, really hot, right after arrival.
Next i ordered my most favourite stone grill bowl rice ! Absolutely gorgeous taste and the paste is also so authentic. Highly recommended!
Vancouver isn’t known for having good Korean food but I have to say that Sumi is one of the exceptions. They serve great authentic Korean food, with generous portions as well. We ordered the Gamjatang, Seafood Pancake, and the Bibimbap. We’ll definitely be back!
This is a Korean restaurant in Vancouver that I would recommend to anyone. All the menu are delicious and truly capture the authentic atmosphere of Korea, maintaining a high standard that anyone can enjoy. You can have such exceptional food at a convenient downtown location even late into the night, and it is a real treat for everyone. The friendly service from the all staff made us experience kindness at its best, and their attention to the smallest details showed their sincere consideration for customers. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to have a fun night in downtown Vancouver.
I have to be honest and say that I'm not a big fan of Korean cuisine, but we came to this place twice in two weeks and everyone really enjoyed the food. Especially the cheesy fried chicken, which my kids were begging to come back and eat again. The best part was that it was very affordable - we only spent an average of 15 dollars per person and we could hardly finish all of the food. Additionally, parking was very convenient with plenty of spots available.
First time here. I like it. It's some of the better tasting Koreans in Vancouver / Burnaby. Not much interaction with the waitresses, but so far they are pretty friendly. Came in around 3 PM on a Sunday - not many people, which I enjoyed.

The side dishes are tasty. I ordered the bibimbap. It's pretty good. It's shocking that not many places make decent tasting one...

The portion is BIG for the price.

I also tried my friend's kimchi fried rice. I usually don't like Kimchi fried rice, but this changed my mind. It's flavourful, not sour.

I think what makes the rice dish good is the quality of rice. It's not dry. It's chewy and bouncy. Perfectly cooked rice.

The fried dumpling is not bad. Worth a try.

Definitely wanting to come back to try their other dishes. Definitely wanting to see if there are any other Vegetarian friendly dishes available.

The Bibimbap was delicious!! I dont have a great spice tolerance so I love how they add the spice sauce on the side that way you can control it to your liking! The outside seating was such a vibe with the music and the beautiful yaletown view. The server was very attentive and helpful, overall I left very full with an amazing meal in my stomach and happy! :D It was actually so good the Bibibimbap is now my profile photo <3
Came here just two weeks ago and WoW! The food here is absolutely delicious as always! I’m hungry just thinking about it.😋 My family visiting from out of town came with us and was absolutely impressed with how the food was very delicious! We were stuffed at the end and had some left overs to take home! I have been coming to this place for over a decade before they moved to this location and the food has not changed- it just too good! When im craving Korean food, this place comes to mind. Nothing can beat it! Their pork soup is to die for! The seafood pancake, bbq beef and gayoza fried and steamed are mouthwateringly yummy!!! Can’t recommend this place enough to anyone I know who dig Korean food. It’s a family restaurant and I find it is rare to have something delicious and family run at the same time these days. Will always come back here any season of the year! Thank you for a delicious meal each time!
My first authentic Korean experience! It was so fxxin good!! The portion sizes were really good, as expected from the price. The interior was pleasant, and I enjoyed listening to the music. One of the songs they played was "At That Moment" by WSG Wannabe and it's now in my playlist 😊 Anyways, the food was really flavourful and tasty. I was able to eat a lot.

We were here for a late night dinner, the noodles were great, great portion and great flavor. The soup was okay, you need to add the salt and pepper on your own but that's the traditional way ti eat it. Corn cheese was average , a bit too sweet and liquid. But the side dishes were absolutely delicious! Kimchi is nice, great acidity and spicy. And the pickle radish for the noodles is so good! You can ask for more if you need it. An A+ in average
I've been to the other location at Warden and went to this one since that location was under construction. My family and I ordered the dak galbi for two, the chicken kasu, and a dish of fried boneless chicken.

Like the other location, the portions are pretty large and the food tastes great! It was my first time ordering the dak galbi (my go to is almost always the snack combo), so we were surprised at just how much food came. It tasted delicious and I think it's my new favourite dish!

The atmosphere at this one is definitely more modern than the Warden location, feeling more "open concept" due to the half walls and the much larger eating area.
Very solid KBBQ spot with some decent choices. Most of the meat tasted pretty good, but the ribs were definitely the best.

We also got served a giant slice of onion, so that was cool 🤣

Service was very good for how busy they were, and the atmosphere was pretty nice.

I'd say this is a very solid AYCE KBBQ spot, definitely would come again if I'm feeling up for excessive amounts of ribs lol.
There was a complimentary platter of veggies with radish, potato and cabbage. There was also a dish of pickled radish which reminded me of coleslaw, it was good. I also enjoyed the potato. Very good soy garlic chicken and bugogi beef.
I’ve been here plenty of times! Average priced and really flavourful dishes. I will say not all of them are hits and some days better then others but 8/10 times really good!

Only qualm I have is that after 5pm it gets very very loud with large groups that can take up over 50% of the restaurant and loud music in the background. Best to go for lunch.

Our go-to Korean restaurant! We always get their chicken (either with garlic honey or soy garlic sauce) and japchae. Their jajangmyeon and vegetable mandu are good picks too! The food is great and the staff are nice 💯

Addendum: A huge plus for me is that they're usually open until 10pm! I mean last orders are until 9:15pm only but still!
The place is quite spacious. In general, the foods were good, though the bbq meats were bit though for some reason. The service was fast and good. However, they only let you eat in for 1.5 hours only, no matter how much you order, so you must eat in the hurry and save the conversation.

As the reviews have stated , the food is quite tasty. However , I received very poor service . Everyone that came in or placed an order were treated cheerfully and with respect. I have dined in twice and did not receive that treatment even after complimenting their food. The second time , as I was leaving I was asked if I had paid for my meal !!!!! I rarely think anyone is being racist towards me but this time I believe that was the case . Very disappointed to be treated this way . Good food or not , there is no way I'm giving them my money again.
Worst tofu soup we ever had. Watered down, tasteless, and bland. They originally got the order wrong and brought out a modified version of the same order. It’s priced way to expensive for what they are serving. I suggest staying away from the tofu soup. Rice was also mediocre

I’ve been here twice. They are always packed so I would recommend booking a reservation. The staff were hospitable and attentive. One of the few Korean barbecue restaurants (that I’ve been to) that offer to help cook the meat for you. The pricey for the portions, but everything was very tasty and fresh.
We picked this place randomly today but it was a great meal! The soup was soothing and the soy garlic fired chicken was juicy but not greasy. We could barely finish the two dishes we order, the portion was great!

A kindly reminder would be that the Chinese notification on the door are not correct. It says "Morning breakfast begins" and "Bean Sprout Soup Begins".
Decided to try this place for a late night bite. The food was okay and i would have to say that the prices are pretty high compared to other korean cuisine places with the same or even better quality of food. I wouldnt necessary recommend this place unless other spots are already closed late at night or if you're only feeling like korean-style soup.
This restaurant has many branches. I quite like every one of them. Today is my first time at this new location and I'm a little excited but as I entered through the main entrance, I saw a large box. Passing by the counter, I could also see brooms placed beside it. This place is very spacious , and colorful umbrellas are on the ceiling in our area. There are also large murals on the walls. I ordered my favorite seafood pancakes and stir-fried noodles, and also ordered seafood tofu soup. The surface of the pancake is very crispy, and the inside is filled with delicious vegetables and seafood. The stir-fried sweet potato noodles are also flavourful and the portion size is good. However, the seafood tofu soup was served in a very small bowl, and the shrimp idid not look fresh and tasted very bad .The side dishes were very delicious and not too spicy. Overall, the dining experience was okay, but the music was too loud. Anyway, if you want to try Korean food, this place is still a good option.
Finally I have a chance to try Sumi,Great food, good service. I love the Korean fried chicken and Japchae is a little bit too sweet but overall is great Korean restaurant

Good selection of Korean dishes, not so much of Japanese. It’s very easy to make a decision because the menu is organized. If you’re having trouble deciding where to go with your friends this is the place! There’s a variety of foods that can accommodate to anyone’s taste.

Kim Chi fried rice was my favourite dish. The regular boneless fried chicken with spicy & sweet sauce on the side (which cost $5 for a side - not impressed w that) was as good as other Korean chicken places, and the beef short ribs were tasty - assuming you don't mind munching small bits of meat around bones. Definitely one of the better Korean restaurants in Vancouver!

Went at noon, no problem getting a table and plenty of free street parking in front. Place was clean and service was responsive.
we (2) had awesome experience - great food, friendly service. Iron wok chicken bbq was satisfyingly filling (bit spicy) and short ribs were perfect. we will go again for sure.
Disclaimer: I am rating this place as a vegetarian.

This restaurant is very spacious inside and has beautiful tradicional decorations. I was shocked with how big it is. The service was good, very attentive staff and fast response. There was a problem with the ventilation the day we went so it was very smoky inside.

Now for the food. My friend ordered a seafood dish and was satisfied with it. I ordered the bibimbap without the beef and egg. The sauce came on the side and it was mainly a sweet and spicy sauce. In my opinion, the dish was lacking in flavor. However, the tempura veggies were amazing and the appetizers they brought us free of charge were really tasty! As a vegetarian you might struggle with the food here. But if you eat meat, I’m sure you will love this place. It is always packed and it has a great ambiance as well.
The food was delicious and I definitely would come here again!

This place is very lovely and the staff is friendly. What stood out to me though was that there was a full set of side dishes, which is sadly rare these days. The main dishes were small, but very filling, so they were definitely enough for one person each. They were cooked very well though - my eel bowl was extremely tender. The only thing is that this restaurant is a bit pricey, and this is totally fine if you are out with the intention of spending money, but if not, I wouldn't recommend coming here. That said, COVID has affected restaurant prices a lot so I'm not sure if there are that many cheap places anymore.

Amazing food. Good service. Lots of soju. Good staff. Ordered retry much everything and had a feast. The food was good and they were very accommodating to our large party. Been here many times before and definitely coming back many more times. Highly recommend for small groups or large
The service was horrible. Having to constantly ring a bell to get attention. The kimchi tasted sour and the rice came with no lid. It would’ve gotten cold fast, so I had to ask for a lid before it got cold. The side dishes were limited to four only and o had to ask for more, instead of happily getting more they said finish what we had first, meanwhile it was 90% eaten. Like why even give me a dirty look, and why have to insist that we would like more as asked. The overall quality of food and service is very poor and will never come back. This is an absolute honest review and would advise you rethinking of ever frequenting this establishment. My pop was served in a can and did not even give me a glass for it. No water was brought to our table at all either. Only some weird tasting tea and never even came to ask if we were ok. Horrible experience! The young people that work there don’t care about their job, rolled their eyes and never came to see us once except to change the grill which burned so fast. The grill on the table didn’t even work too. They gave us this butane grill. The tempura shrimp was all breading and the shrimp was almost non existent and small as a quarter. Never coming back.
I ordered food around 10 pm and they brought foods after 5 min. At that time, I was surprised about the fast service. After eating foods, I went to home and slept. However, I got food poisoning. Since that night, I didn’t eat anything. My guess is those foods were not fresh, especially the BBQ chicken. Whole week my body didn’t feel great and my stomach hurt. Tried to contact restaurant and called, but they don’t answer the phone. I will never come again. So disappointed.
The “sweet tteokbokki stick” was so chewy, sweet and savory, my friend really liked this. The bibimbap was huge for one, I was really full after this. Also, I loved the banchan so much, they got seasoned pretty well, crunchy and sour, made the taste more exciting

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The pork backbone soup was so decadent and the seafood pancake is one of the best we’ve had around. great house kimchi! very good service with a family feel. We will come back again with friends to try more things.
Absolutely incredible. My friend wanted to treat me to authentic Northern Dumplings. The usual restaurant was no longer there so by chance found Dumpling Restaurant. Had Pork and Celery dumplings, and Chives with egg dumplings, Beef with Broccoli and Shredded Fish. All was very delicious and freshly made.14 dumplings per order. Good Prices, Great Quality and Quantity. Highly recommend.
Great place to eat late as they are open to 2am. It wasn't busy when we arrived at 7pm on a weekday and we got seated right away. I got the kimchi fishcake udon ($23) which was good. It is spicy but not overly spicy. The soup is delicious. Also got the bibim noodle ($25). You get a few choices for this and we picked ramen, bulgogi beef (+$3) and yuzu soy for the sauce. Sauce comes on the side and you pour it over. Also good! The yuzu sauce on its own is a mild vinaigrette. Mixed with the bulgogi sauce it's this amazing sweet mixture. There are a fair number of vegetarian dishes on the menu and they labeled. Average food price is about $20-$30 for a meal. Servers were very attentive and quick! The place was a little busy so it doesn't feel empty but not so busy that it's too noisy. It's easy to have a conversation here. Groups of 4 are easy. I'm pretty sure they can accomodate much larger groups by pushing tables together. They accept American Express. Good experience. I will need to come again to try some of the other good stuff on their menu.
Pros: Good flavour and decent selection of dishes.
We ordered hot pot and the regular size was good for two people, the beef bbq was a little smaller than expected but well seasoned, the kimchi was good (it felt like is made in house).

Cons: We wish they had more side dishes, and I think they don’t have enough staffs so the service may be a little slower than the desired but I did feel that they were trying.

We will definitely go back to try other stuffs.

Thanks!

The food is always hot and filling. I like the Soft Tofu Jigae (Beef or Veggie) plus rice cakes. The banchan was as expected, potato was the surprising star. Their half & half boneless chicken is hot and moist; soy and yangnyeom was tasty. Pork cutlet was good but the other items were better. Convenient location and the staff are amazing; I’ve only been here 3 times but they recognize me now, which is very sweet. I even got a chocolate!

This restaurant is in Scarborough, but I live in Richmond Hill. Yes, it's worth the drive. The decor isn't the best, but everything is clean and food is ALWAYS great! I especially love the cold dishes.
This place is an institution, me and my bff have been coming here for years and is our #1 favorite restaurant, plus the service and food quality has never diminished. Servers always check their customers regularly, lots of menu selections and the price is right. Don't even think, just come by, you won't regret it. The Mango Slush is also my fav drink item here be sure to give it a try.

Great atmosphere here and the food was delicious perfectly marinated with their house sauces. The only downfall to this place is when you order a drink we had to ask 2-3 times where it is and when we could expect it. If you're looking for a great Korean BBQ this is definitely a great place to go with the all you can eat it's so much fun cooking your own food. Definitely try all the beef cuts, chicken, calamari, salmon and get some rice. The mango and strawberry ice cream are tasty, but mango is really sweet. Tried their mango strawberry slushie and it was great little on the expensive side. All in all I would recommend and will be back!

I made a large order online for an office lunch. They not only got all of our order correct but they labeled the dishes for each person.
Delicious every time I have ordered. I highly recommend

First found this restaurant on a whim last month and it was so good we ended up coming back for more. The dumplings are all excellent, on the first visit I had the pan fried pork and chive dumpling as well as the pork potstickers. The potstickers are a must have! My dad and sister got the noodles which were noticeably hand pulled and absolutely delicious. On our second round, I had got the beef pancake recommended in other reviews and the pork and chive potstickers which were both so flavourful. Highly recommend coming to this place but get in early, it fills up quickly.

The soup and green onion pancake was amazing! However my family and I got MILD FOOD POISONING after eating the slightly undercooked chicken dumplings. They tasted fine but we got sick later that evening.

Would recommend other dishes aside from the dumplings, ironic that it’s called Dumpling Restaurant and would ask for well cooked chicken instead.
Always come here for drinks and late night snacks. They open until really late which is nice. Chill place to just be with your friends. Very casual and pricing is pretty good too. Food can be hit or miss but its not bad.
For a long-standing establishment like them, the Naengmyeon was surprisingly not that great. It was plain and even with us adding the vinegar and mustard, it still tasted … bland. Not sure why.
The seafood pancake was very tasty though. When we got there, the outside looked like it was closed because no lights were on. Will still want to try their other dishes in the future.

We can always count on having a great meal at the Dumpling Restaurant. Our dinner this evening was no exception, the steamed dumplings, the fried dumplings, the beef wrap and the fried onion cake were great. Service was quick, food was all piping hot. I highly recommend this restaurant.
They provide 5 sides but only allow you to refill 3 of them once. The chicken katsu isn’t bad you get a lot which add values. The washroom and dining area is very clean!
Great Scarborough hidden gem! I’ve been here a few times for takeout and the food is delicious and always fresh. Some of the best dumplings I’ve ever had, and it takes me 20 mins to drive home and they are still amazing, they travel well. The potstickers are so good they have so much filing in them, very generous portions. The braised eggplant with pork is great, the sauce is not too sweet or thick like most other places, it’s tangy with a great consistency, good to eat alone or with rice.

**Now let me tell you…** if you have not tried their fried sweet potato dish you haven’t truly lived. It’s a great dessert I get it every time, crunchy sweet and salty candied sweet potatoes, they are addictive!!!

Wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful. Dining room is spacious and clean. Thank you for all the dumpling and great food, I’ll come back again and again!
This is something worth going to for a comfortable korean food. I got the japchae which is quite good actually. The jajangmyeon wasnt so bad. I personally love the fried chicken especially the soy sauce. The spicy is okay. The boneless bits was deep fried splendidly. The soy sauce though was good. Recommended since kimbab was closed already. Cheers! I hope this feedback helps!

Very good parking place
Chicken & Noodles .....
Very delicious & good price. Very good serving
We ordered the seafood noodle soup, bibimbap, and fried chicken. The soup was better than I've had at many Korean restaurants, thick with a lot of seafood flavor. However, the fried chicken was pretty disappointing. I expected a bigger crunch and juicier meat on the inside. Overall, I'd say good except for fried chicken.

I love the Poke Bowl so much. A delicious full balanced meal. The best kind of fast food!
I went here yesterday during their lunch event for black bean noodles that were only 5.99. I loved the dish and I also recommend the zaru soba! Would definitely return to the restaurant. Just thinking about it makes me hungry again. The waitress was kind and friendly and the service was excellent. I would for sure advise my friends to dine here.

I've tried many items on the menu and all of them taste great! I really love the poke bowl.
When my friend and I were in front of the store, we saw the happy hour sign that caught our eye. It said "happy hour from 5-8pm!"

We were excited cause we were pretty hungry food. It was 5:12pm. The with said OPEN and the door was unlocked.

When we walked in, the tables were completely cleaned up. The chairs were stacked. It looked like it was closing. We thought that they might not be opened yet, but saw that the staff were chatting with some customers.

They completely ignored us even as we just stood there. It was very awkward. We even waved and walked towards them.

Ignored.

The chef saw us but didn't say anything but minded his own business.

We were so upset that we decided to just leave. I wouldn't want to come back again, not with THAT service.

Portions are small for the price. The chicken was a bit soggy and wasn't crunchy. The atmosphere is decent.

Been to this restaurant twice now and I have a lot of good things to say about this place. The servers are prompt, helpful and quick. The place is a little bit small but clean. As for the food, I had tried 2 different dishes(see pictures) and i can say it's delicious and someting that you will definitely come back to. To nitpick though, their dishes are a little but expensive and portion size is just average. If they can improve on serving size with the same quality, I would definitely give it a 5 🌟.

BTW, I tried their spicy ramen and it's quite good as well!

Classic hand-brew coffee and fresh chicken club sandwich. What could ask more for breakfast to go. They also have cozy tables to chill with friends.
The best breakfast in the sky-walk downtown. Highly recommended.
