Kanji Balham

A wonderful family owned restaurant. Authentic Korean food (I just got back from visiting my sister from Seoul, and wanted a reminder). Definitely worth a visit. I even got recommendations of places to visit and foods to try when I go back to Korea. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our lovely lunch

We popped in for a quick dinner before heading out into central and were treated to wonderful hospitality from the owner. The food is incredibly flavourful, service friendly and informal and all round great atmosphere.

The sweet and sour katsu is tasty, the veg dumplings are the best, and the sauces very flavourful. Would recommend.

As locals, we'll definitely be dropping in!

Kanji Balham is an amazing restaurant that has great staff and food. The owner is so nice and kind and gave me a free drink 🥤I definitely recommend this restaurant 🧑‍🍳🍛 I would totally go again 💯

If I lived nearer, it would be my regular! The chicken katsu and rice dish is delicious, the atmosphere is quite home-like, and the head chef(?) is very welcoming and lovely. I really recommend the dumplings and the Sweet & Sour Spicy chicken.

If you are after homely, fragrant and fresh than you will love this place. A very simplistic menu but they do the items they do offer well. The veg dumplings and sauce is a must try, hand made and very delicious.

We loved Kanji!!! The owner was soooo friendly and told us all about how local Korean food is eaten.

Everything was so delicious. The dumplings are a MUST have and you'll be tempted to lick the sauce off your fingers after the Korean fried chicken. Will definitely be back

The food looked so delicious and it was so yummy and the customer service was amazing! So kind and friendly!! Highly recommend🫶🏻 I had chicken katsu and my parents had sweet and spicy chicken It was amazing and the portion is quite big compared to the price it was amazing and very filling 😊
