The store and staff are so lovely and welcoming but I ended up being really disappointed with the quality of the Satenn dress I bought. The material around the arms and back became so incredibly itchy and scratchy within the 15 minutes of wearing it. It became so uncomfortable that it made it hard to enjoy the event I wore it to. This was really disappointing considering I bought the dress expecting to get many uses of it.
With the price being over $100 for a mini dress, I would have expected much better quality and material.

I had such a wonderful experience; even though I purchased my dress online, I got great advice regarding sizing. The delivery was quick (Ontario), and the packaging was lovely. Great work! Will be a returning customer for sure.
Beautiful dresses at very good price!
The staff was helpful and nice. There are big mirror and à little stand so you have a good view of the dress.
The system to try the dress is a bit long, but I went on a weekend close to prom time.... so not their fault.

My daughter is getting married and I needed a Mother of the Bride dress. I found Boutique 1861 on Google and ordered the first dress I saw. I am not skeptical in nature but I did not think the item I ordered would be as fabulous. The dress arrived in less than a week in a custom package, wrapped in lovely tissue, tied with a bow and included a real hand written welcome note. Lets get to the dress! I cannot include photos yet as I have not shown pictures of me in it to my daughter yet. See photo of the lovely wrapping. The dress fits almost perfectly. A few slight alterations may be required as the neckline is a little snug but otherwise I feel beautiful! Thank you Boutique 1861.
I am in town from Halifax and was shopping today for my upcoming wedding! I had the most incredible experience. The staff were so attentive, they knew what I needed before I even asked. The selection of dresses and accessories is expansive and so much more unique than you’ll find at other stores. A true boutique. Thanks for a special day; I will be back <3

I've been in love with this store since 2017. I don't live in Montreal so I shop online constantly, but when I do visit I spend hours in here. All the stylists are so amazing and helpful here as well! I'm for real when I say this store is my FAVOURITE in the whole wide world!
