The Seafood Bar

Food is amazing! This is the must try in Amsterdam ! Irvan and Vanessa did so well to recommend what I should pick for my solo travel. Love their wine and the food price is reasonable . I will come back again.

Went to this place based on reviews. Very busy and had reservations, but were very much overlooked. I ordered the special of the lobster pasta, which was very unappealing. Essentially just a large portion of pasta with red sauce and a tiny piece of lobster from halved lobster. My son had the fish and chips and said it was good. My husband and other son split the cold platter; Very underwhelming. I was so excited about this place based on reviews, but the waiter seemed way too preoccupied to even notice us. I honestly would not recommend this.

Food was delicious. The lobster soup was great. We had the cod fillet which was fresh and well seasoned. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. :)

Desserts were on point as well!

We visited for dinner and ordered the mixed grill. While the seafood was adequately seasoned, it seemed overly marinated and lacked a fresh taste. The flavors were generally acceptable. The oyster platter was refreshing, but the crab cakes were very mushy, and it was hard to discern their ingredients.

It’s a busy restaurant located near van gough museum. After I have dined in there I realized there is also a branch in the city center.

Seafood was fresh and highly recommended the oyster happy hour between 3-5pm. 1.50euro per piece of oyster. While the size is small, they are fresh.

Side veg are good too.

Pasta is average.

Glorious seafood restaurant, located across the road from the east entrance of the park. Simple setting, with a mixture of bar seating, high tables and table seating. Wide selection of cold and hot seafood dishes. The mixed grill for two was delicious. Service excellent, with a special shout out to Irvan, who welcomed us with enthusiasm and a friendly smile.

The food was great and reasonably priced. The servers were all very passionate and friendly. Would definitely recommend for anyone who loves seafood.
