Amazing Peruvian Food! Everything we had was excellent, from the drinks to the main dishes. The meat was also all perfectly cooked to a beautiful medium well. Excellent ceviche, beef hearts, and the steak main dish. Really hoped they wouldn’t have relocated to this area from Dupont, but they still deserve a visit.
First time trying Peruvian food and it was great. Lots of flavour without overwhelming spice. Friendly service and cute atmosphere.

So happy to have a Peruvian restaurant in the neighbourhood. Nice little spot at the corner of Ontario and Carlton, with a small patio and quality, tasty Peruvian food. The customer service was excellent but relaxed. The Passion Fruit Mojito $15 was very sour, maybe a little too tart (esp for sensitive stomachs). The drink however was very pretty asthetically. The Classic Pisco Sour $18 was good - medium sour. They give you a mini bowl of crunchy (roasted) choclo (Andean large corn) kernels with your drinks. It was on the bland side. The Ceviche Mixto $28 was refreshing and quite tangy (maybe too tangy) but perfect for foodies with a super sour tooth. Also had the Arroz con Mariscos (Seafood Paella) $28 which was delicious. The flavour was nice, well seasoned but mild even though description says spicy. The meals were decently portioned, good amount of seafood cooked perfectly soft and not rubbery. The rice to seafood ratio was equal in the paella. The whole total after tip was around $118.00. The vibe is nice, good for a dinner date. IMO, the food price is close to decent for the quality, quantity and the atmosphere combined. My main critique would be that the sour drinks and dishes could use something to cut through the tartness to be more tolerrable. I still recommend this place.

Lunch for one including appetizer, main course, a Latte and one double shot of tequila with tax and tip = $88.14.

The good, the bad & the ugly:

The good: The food is beyond reproach. Flavourful with good portions.

The bad: Tubular metal chairs that may dig into your thighs given a certain girth making eating your meal uncomfortable. Stick to bench seating.

The ugly: WASH YOUR HANDS! If you are suffering from a cold, allergies or the bubonic plague, the options are simple: stay home.
Failing that, once you've sneezed into a tissue and coughed in your hand, wash your hands before you start touching everything from the menus, the phone, the coffee machine, guests coats and everything else.
That should be drilled in when running a restaurant.
And if you insist on talking face to face with customers...as you did...please wear a mask.

As for the price and as wonderful as the food is, I hope the neighbourhood can sustain you.

Excellent option for Peruvian food with a lot of local favourites for anyone that has had it abroad. Great variety of ceviche, and all the home style favourites are on their menu including lomo saltado (pictured) and pollo a la brasa. We also had the beef medallions which were so tender and flavourful, as well as the squid ink risotto which came loaded with seafood.

I was searching for a good Peruvian restaurant near downtown Toronto and I stumbled upon this place. As a Peruvian myself, I highly recommend it. Each dish was packed with authentic Peruvian flavor, but my personal favorites were the "Arroz con Mariscos" and the "Ceviche Carretillero", which can be difficult to find here. Everything was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The Chicha Morada was a standout and I loved it. Additionally, the classic Pisco Sour was almost as good as the ones you'd find in Peru. I'm looking forward to returning and trying more of the menu.

This is my first time here, and I absolutely loved their food and coffee.
My friend and I didn't have a reservation, but luckily we got a table for two, and it turned out to be one of the best restaurant experiences in the past month. The food was impeccable, well-cooked, and served with fresh ingredients and balanced seasoning. All four dishes we had were of a decent portion and tasted amazing. It did take a little bit longer for the dishes to be served, but it was definitely worth the wait.
I had espresso, and my friend had a Spanish coffee, and they were both very good.
Highly recommended, and I would definitely come back for the dessert we didn't have a chance to try.
