A lovely park with a lot to offer. On the south side of the park there is a nice public archery range, off leash dog park, and golf learning center with driving range to accompany the larger golf course within the park. From the north side there is a spacious picnic area with a variety of activity spaces from a large playground, swings, a full size football field with bleachers, a sand area that can be equipped with a volleyball net, several grills, and numerous built in cement picnic benches for a variety of group sizes. The tennis area is in rough shape, and I’m not sure if it is still maintained with the intent to play tennis. There are two separate parking areas for the picnic area, another by the driving range and dog park, and about three parking spaces near the archery range. There are great, well-marked, walking and biking trails around the park, as well as a great view of the Minneapolis skyline from the northern parkway.

Always a favorite! View is beautiful. Children's playground near, tennis courts, and lacrosse field.
Nice for group gatherings. Has electric, water and lighting as well as restrooms.

Columbia Park and Golf Course is a good place to walk around. The North West corner has been dug up due to a need to slow the water erosion. It's interesting to see the work being done.
We walked the trails, enjoying the sun and some wind. Spring is on the rebound !

It was a sweet little spot that we found unexpectedly. Totally hidden away behind golf course so not in public view for most part. But it had a lot of open space to run. Walking paths. Big trees. Very "green". Huge parking area. We went here at dusk so it was empty extremely quiet and lots and lots of flies mosquitoes. Tricked kids into nature walk by playing and finding pokemon but blew up in my face, after bugs destroyed us. Bugs flying into our mouth hovering around bats and mosquitos everywhere. Kids saw first fireflies on good note. Play area was decent size. One for smaller kids. Other for all ages. Dirty equipment. Definitely needs to be hosed off once a month. Or garbage cleaned off equipment at least. Garbage scattered all over playground. Not on grass just playground which made me think the grounds people who cut grass maybe tossed aside onto playground to finish. Obviously sounds unlikely but looked odd. Lots of open space picnic tables and benches scattered far apart and did not see bathrooms or even knew where shelter was on grounds.

I like to hike in the woods, and there is no place to do that at this park. There is a playground, a picnic shelter with 2 gendered bathrooms, picnic tables scattered around on a hill, tennis courts in disrepair, soccer fields, a place to play horseshoes, paved paths partly in the shade, and a stand of trees with a clearing and short trails that go nowhere.

It was a beautiful day to play in the park. Nice hill to challenge skills, a horse shoe box, picnic shelters and playgrounds. And yes poke gyms and poke stops!!! This is a very large park with a lot of trail. I will be back for more😊

We rented the park pavilion for my son's birthday party. The location of the park, along with the view and old growth trees cannot be beat. However, the facilities are a little run down and not very well maintained. Maybe I expected too much, but we had to clean up quite a bit before even setting up for the party. The ledge you'd use for the food spread was grungy, full of dead bugs and spiderwebs. Flies were out of control. The sink to wash hands was grimy. The picnic tables are old with chipped paint. Overall, would love to see this park renovated and updated eventually. Or just cleaned for paying customers, at the least.
