Chinatown North Parking Lot

Parking in Chinatown is not easy and you have to find meters and pay through the app. So if you are going to drive to Chinatown, you should definitely park here as long as you’re gonna eat at one of the participating restaurants that will validate your parking for $2 for three hours. Just make sure that you are eating at one of the restaurants listed on the list (see picture). There are two of these parking lots kind of adjacent to each other across the street from each other. He is right next to the Chicago Public library in Chinatown. Once you park here, you are able to walk to the new old Chinatown restaurant and store so it is convenient. It is also right next to the CTA station for Chinatown. It’s just 1 block away.

Left my drink by the paying booth, but came back afterwards to retrieve it. When I didn’t see it, I asked the staff there if they happen to see anything, only to see a similar drink, half done, on the booth. It doesn’t proof anything, but the staffs’ attempt at deflection and gaslighting just leaves a bad taste.

Nothing opens until 10 but if you get here early the parking is discounted and you can scope out where you wanna go and spend time relaxing over breakfast.

I park here every time visiting China Town. It's always packed and I have to park way in the back but I haven't been let down yet. There's also a few pot holes and larger rough patches in the parking lot that should be avoided. Otherwise, the price is good and I would recommend it given its short walk to the main strip

I suggest you get there early and find level ground parking because after driving through the center, the lot ground starts to go up or down like a hill which is unsteadily uncomfortable getting in or out. The pricing is reasonable as well.

Never had an issue parking here. I usually park here to go to one of the restaurants or convenience locations in the area and most of them validate which drops the price of parking significantly! Plenty of spots available and the parks are not super tight. Close walking distance to the majority of the areas food, drinks, and entertainment.

I looked at spot hero and parking was at least half a mile away and $15+, then I found China town parking lot on google. We easily found open spots on Friday evening.

Restaurant we dined, validated parking ticket and we paid $2 for 3 hours of parking. This is the best and cleanest parking lot in Chicago city I believe.
