Brand new man-made wetlands. Well done Council. So far, just Ibis, Ducks, Moorhens, Stilts, Egret, Fairy Wrens. But it can only get better as more wildlife discovers it.

When they installed the metal bridge, I can no longer take my dog for a walk on it. It hurts his paws too much.

Beautiful and calm area that I happened to stumble upon while cycling around Bicentennial Park.

The local council seems to be doing a great job with the conservation of wildlife.

Great spot to birdwatch, there are plenty of shorebird species and even some turtles and crabs if you get lucky. Mosquito spray is reccommended.

Quiet and peaceful location along the canal, with an open area to spot birds, and a cycling trail connecting to Sydney Olympic Park.
