The Squaire Parking

August 29, 2023: Shuttle is operational again.
With that said, it remains the best option for terminal parking, even if the cost is still significant.

Truly if the small shuttle railway is not working, you're in for a walk. When we were traveling all other options were either fully booked or way too far out (basically in the city) for our liking and/or dubious conditions - key to be handed over (err no but thanks no). The spaces are big and the car park is easily accessible. As we were late with the booking we called upfront and were informed that usually there are at least 400 open spaces available. 1 point down only bc of not working skyline shuttle, otherwise we'd give 5 stars. Price/value is acceptable since you're not crammed in a transfer van with other folks.

Yes I fully agree that this parking, very good in the past, has become really problematic because of the broken shuttle train. I was told that this train has not been working for about half year... But the problem is not only that. Ok, if the train is not working for so long time, then at least some pointers can be established to show how to walk from this parking to the terminal. Is it really difficult to establish such pointers? I think honestly saying that people who manage this are not taking their responsibilities seriously or they are just incompetent. In both cases, they are responsible for the delays and possible damages caused. In addition, the price of the parking, already high enough, was not reduced due to these serious circumstances.

The parking itself is nice, large parking space, etc. I have used a lot in the past. Now, due to closed shuttle train you have to walk to the main terminal - signage and information is very poor, at night it's a dark path outside. If it's your first time there - it's not easy to find the way (you have to take 3 different elevators, walk through other parking lot in the Squire building etc).
To the management of the parking - think about reducing the price - you don't offer full service(train) but still charge the same. It's not fair nor ethical. That would be also a nice motivation to repair it quickly.
For people with disabilities, multiple bags etc. it's a big issue.

Nice parking spaces for larger vehicles. Tram does not work. No directions are provided to get to anywhere, including the exit. Horrible, unguided walk to the airport somehow via the Squaire. Absolutely no thought was put in to accomadate people trying to get to the airport. Overall, a very terrible experience.

I used this to get to Frankfurt airport. A far easier experience in my opinion. This is a longer, but quiet, walk and part of the journey is on a sky train.
The sky train is on level 6, it is automated and no charge.

Great parking area always with a lot of room to park. Big handicap parking spots and there was even a Ram 1500 quad cab pickup that was able to fit into the parking area and parking spot.
