We booked a transfer to the airport online and received a reservation number and a pickup time but the online payment system wasn’t working. We reached out to the company to confirm that we still had a reservation even if we did not pay in advance online. They told us our reservation was confirmed and we could pay in cash when we were picked up no problem. The next morning no one came to pick us up even though our reservation was still showing up as confirmed. When we reached out at the end of our pickup window they told us our reservation had been canceled because we didn’t pay online. We were stranded at 5 in the morning with no other way of getting to the airport. We learned only after this experience that Transvip is widely known by people in the area as a terrible, unreliable company. Definitely avoid if at all possible.

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews, we booked a 5am shared pickup for 2 from Atacama to Calama Airport the day before, they confirmed with us via whatsapp and everything worked out well - no trouble at all! Reasonable price and courteous and safe drive.

I booked through their website and l got a confirmation email with a confirmed pickup time and everything. Overnight, the night before, they emailed me saying they had no availability and canceled on me, leaving me to scrabble at the last minute the morning I was supposed to get to the airport and had to call a taxi for a much more expensive ride.

Had booked a transfer from Valparaiso to Santiago airport and got the confirmation - a driver simply didn’t show up which has left us with a real predicament given the early flight. Absolutely appalling. We ended up calling an Uber which had a bit of a wait time, so we ended up running quite late based on the recommended time to arrive.

All in all this was atrocious service for a trip to have been booked and confirmed to then just not show up is shocking.

We called them to ask about transfer service to the airport by call. Unfortunately, no one picked up our call. Maybe it is better to go directly to their office to get an information.

We waited able hour for a ride because they are disorganized and give little priority to communication. We only saved a few dollars over the cost of a taxi but it took nearly two hours.

When we finally did get a ride the driver dropped us off at the wrong spot somehow even though it was a well known hotel. Also the ride took 45 minutes because we were low on the list of drop offs. Little effort to communicate.

Avoid!

Terrible experience, we booked and paid for taxi service 2 days in advance (calama to San Pedro). After arrival we had to wait for 30 minutes at the desk watching other customers being prioritized over us. Once we were the last ones with still no taxi we ve been told to wait for another 20 minutes (side note it was already 22:15). Filing complain does not really help, as the personnel at the airport desk was not helpful to coordinate own taxi drivers / or partners or whatever licensing model they have. We took the money and went with official taxi service straight to hotel in San Pedro. I have travelled a lot in my life, but haven’t seen such unprofessionalism in long time. -> not recommended!
