The Hawaiian airline's delayed fight had the passengers missed the next flight. The Hawaiian airline gave us a food voucher for the hotel BUT we booked and paid for our next flight and the hotel Hawaiian Airline NEVER reimbursed for their own errors! We have been submitting our bills according to the Hawaiian Airline's counter clerk/agent gave the detailed information for months and now it has been a year, multiple times. Nothing!

Just want to share that our trip to Kauai, which included a layover in Maui, with a 4 year old and a 1 year old couldn't have gone any better. From the hospitality to the included snacks and hot meal and the complimentary rum punch, the plan ride went as well as we would've liked. Also love that the seat back had a USB charge port and tablet/phone holder to keep the family entertained. Legroom is also a plus! Recommend this airline whenever we travel to Hawaii.

Changed our flight time to 7am making it impossible for my family to get a good sleep. Booked full price with no discount. No prior notice. No change allowed. No refund. Absolutely ridiculous!!

I had to cancel my flight during the quarantine. Sat on hold for 1.5 hours. Cant cancel online. I paid full fare. I used my hawaiian Airlines CC. They only issued me credit. They get to keep my 3k regardless.
Hilton Waikaloa issued me a full refund and called me to confirm cancellation.
Turo issued me a full refund.

BEWARE, selecting/"confirming" your seats in advance is MEANINGLESS with Hawaiian Airlines, and does NOT guarantee anything. My wife & I selected our seats 9 months before our flights (essentially, the day after we booked, and paid for, our flights). The day we were to depart, after arriving at the airport, while we were checking our luggage, we found out our seats had been randomly reassigned. Even worse, they had reassigned us seats in different rows, AND on opposite sides of the plane...talk about UNACCEPTABLE. To be "safe", I decided to check the seating on our return flight, and everything was as I had booked...or so I thought.

Three days before departing, I rechecked our return flights, and everything was still as it should be. Thankfully, I was smart enough to take a screen shot of our return flight seating. I say this because, two days before departing Hawai'i, when I went to look up the flight info (for entering into the flight tracking app on my phone), I discovered that our seats (on BOTH legs of our return flights) had been changed. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE. I immediately called Hawaiian Airlines customer service (during the call, at one point, I even went so far as to tell the representative, "You're not Southwest". You don't randomly reason seats, especially when the changed plane has the exact same seating arrangement as the originally plane."), and told customer service that, I didn't care what it took, but, at minimum, they needed to get us reassigned to our originally-chosen seating, or better. It was a bit of a "battle", and took talking to three different people (including a supervisor), but we were finally reassigned equivalent seating for the second leg (the much longer leg) of our return flight. Unfortunately, in regards to the first leg (Honolulu to Maui), I was told there was nothing they could do.

While I was happy the seating for the second leg was 'returned', I'm still displeased that the first leg was not corrected, and I'm royally pissed that any of this happened in the first place. Needless to say, I'll be STRONGLY considering other airlines (even Southwest) for future flights to/from Hawai'i. As much as I dislike United Airlines, unless Hawaiian changes (for the better) how they handle things, even United has a better chance of getting my business.

My flight was from San Jose, California to Honolulu last week. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They handled my three animals very well. It took only an hour to get all the paperwork done and for them to process my three animals and take them to be boarded.

The flight itself was very comfortable, I actually slept most of the way. The free breakfast was interesting but it did taste good and it was enough to fulfill my hunger needs. They also served free snacks such as a cookie, and a little bag of crackers. Refreshments were also free and upon landing they serve a complimentary welcome to Hawaii drink.

Overall a very pleasant experience and I recommend them!
