Love, love, love the beach at Half Moon Bay! It's where I go to forget my worries, lose all track of time, and somewhere amongst the sandy toes, the crashing waves and the spectacular sunsets, this is where I find my happy place.
This was a convenient free pull out to park and to view Grays Harbor Bay. There’s ADA accessible trails going in both directions north and south. The north Trail can be closed at times due to high tide and debris covering the trail. South goes quite a distance through the state park towards Grays Harbor lighthouse. There were potholes coming through, so beware. The rest were convenient and not in bad shape.

Such a great place to enjoy the sun, the sounds of the water and enjoy the sand in your hands and toes. Also some cute dogs!
When parking, go slow as the parking areas are small and people can have trouble seeing around other cars. During our trip, we witnessed a car back out of a spot and then another car back out into the first car just because of the size of the area. Go slow, you'll thank yourself later!

Plenty of parking, and there are some good logs on the beach which are perfect to sit on. We were here at 930am with coffee and donuts and it was peaceful and not busy at all.
The sunset here is amazing and my last picture didn't do it justice. I could stay here all day, I really like this place.
The parking lot is a bit bumpy but the bay is beautiful. We took an evening walk one day and found lots of fun shell and rocks. Then 8 took a walk as the sun rose and it was a student beautiful. Saw deer in the beach And the sun rise. The only thing that could have made it better was a coffee in hand.
