This is a late review. I was out fishing on Lake Michigan on 06-02-2023 and got this photo of the Ludington South Light.
Walked on the pier, to the lighthouse.
They said fireworks at 10 thangs still ain’t go and it’s 1030
It was raining pretty hard when we stopped here to walk. But, we had rain coats and hats, so it wasn’t that bad. Lake Michigan was not calm and very wavy, so we couldn’t make it out to the lighthouse. It’s about a 4000 foot walk out to the lighthouse from the parking lot. The parking lot has minimal spaces, but it was not crowded when we were there.
Great walk to the pier with excellent views of the inlet and across to the other light tower
Great spot for sunsets and seeing the Badger arrive in Ludington!
