Fantastic spot, really liked the vibe and the food was excellent. Our group spent over two hours here chatting and enjoying different dishes and it never felt rushed. The drinks were great too (recommend the sangria) and our server was so sweet and recommended a blueberry infused vodka drink to one of our group that we all ended up trying because it was so delicious! Every single thing I tried (which was like 8-9 dishes) was absolutely tasty and I'm looking forward to returning and trying more.

OK, first off, the 4 stars are due to the high prices for what you get. ($35 for 3 lamb chops, garnish, and whipped potatoes). The food is decent and the service was good, but a bit slow (I'll caveat that statement in saying that there was only 1 person working the floor at about half capacity). I'd say definitely go and check it out. You'll probably need a reservation if it's a fri/sat as it's not a huge place.

bottom line: strip prices at a restaurant strip mall location on Rainbow Blvd.

Been to many many restaurants here in Vegas during my 5 year endeavors. Forte is easily in my top 5 of meals and settings. It’s definitely a diamond in the rough type place and those are the types of places I live for. You can only really do so much to food so when I go to a “fancy 5 star place” and pay $300+ for a sub par meal for 2 when you can be out here supporting local small businesses. I visit both the La Bonita & the 7 plus aguas water store in this shopping center and I’ve walked/drove/stared at this place and wondered to myself what goes on in there. Im mad at myself it took me this long to get inside and check it out! Very good people and food will definitely be back sometime this week to grab lunch, luckily I work down the street ;)

Wanting to try something new every month and we decided to come on a Wednesday for happy hour and dinner.

The restaurant has a nice outdoor seating area out front with a perfect Vegas sunset view.

We ordered a few appetizers aka tapas and some drinks. Here are what we liked.

Stuffed squid with rice - flavorful and tasted fresh.

Grilled octopus with rice - The octopus is very tender and it reminds us of the octopus we had in Spain.

Dates wrapped with bacon - The bacon is crunchy and salty but the sweetness of the dates balanced it out nicely.

Bulgarian mixed grill - Different kinds of sausages and the meat are peppery, good flavors and balanced out with the beans, chopped onions and blended tomatoes with sweet red peppers.

What we didn’t like was the Thracian clay pot. It looks authentic but the portion was really small for the price.

We will definitely come back for happy hour next time!
