All dishes taste the same: same ingredients, salty and nothing special. Noisy and crowded place. 20% tips mandatory. I will not go again.
Happy hour deal is excellent. Had a great drink and 2 apps for $16. Service was nice. Will def be back.

This is a Spanish tapas restaurant, so you get to enjoy a variety of dishes instead of one large main course after one appetizer, etc. They have a wide selection of Tapas dishes, including vegetarian options in addition to non-vegetarian. Good wine and drink selection. Service was outstanding. Because our group was ordering and eating a series of many small dishes instead of one main course like conventional American restaurants, the servers make a lot of trips back and forth to the table and they were excellent. Atmosphere is a little bit on the boisterous side but that was fine. Parking can be a bit tricky during the peak periods.

The food was excellent & beautifully plated! We started off with 3 plates of tapas (pulpo, mushroom croquettes, salad) which came out fairly quickly. To note: the salad is just lettuce & creamy garlic dressing. Not a piece of manchego cheese, boiled egg or tomato in sight! No fault of the restaurant, as the description literally details the ingredients (lettuce &’dressing) so not sure why I was surprised. It was tasty though.

The second & third round of drinks (beers) were slow to come out & the steak & egg dish took “forever”. As did the churros for dessert. It helped tremendously that the food was delicious otherwise the wait when the restaurant didn’t seem especially busy, would have been more annoying. Upon inquiry, the waiter explained the kitchen was slammed. Maybe they had a lot of delivery orders. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Going back to try the paella as I’ve heard it’s delicious!

Mood Tapas Bar has an amazing happy hour from 4 to 6 pm Monday-Friday. You can try many of their tapas for only$6. Great drink specials, too. The white sangria was refreshing and delightful. The service was excellent. Everyone kept checking on us, and they brought out the food pretty quickly. We tried their desserts too, I definitely recommend the strawberry tart. I loved the outdoor seating area. They have great Spanish music playing for diners to enjoy as part of the atmosphere. Mood Tapas Bar is located in beautiful downtown Colorado Springs right in the center of Tejon blvd. You'll enjoy yourself at Mood Tapas Bar.
Have to say, too many things to choose from, most of them are amazing, however, because of the big variety of tapas options some o f them do not get the attention to detail they deserve. Overall this place is really good but a reduce tapas options will focus and quality and experience. Nevertheless this place does not disappoint. To end these observations, the tenderness of the octopus was amazing and very hard to get in other places!
Went there for lunch with a group of friends we had 2 pitchers of red sangria and ordered 3-4 appetizers, we had dátiles con bacon, patatas bravas, escalivada and gambas al ajillo! Everything was pretty good, the dátiles con bacon was my favorite.

We also had 1 paella de mariscos and 1 Fideua con gambas! It was really good but the portions were very small so we just ordered and extra paella!

For dessert we had churros and a carajillo and we highly recommend it! It was soo good!

Here is a photo of the escalivada, the only photo we took lol!

This is a lovely place to drink wine and g&t's and snack on little tapas. It is a little pricey, so just be ready for that! We went to the pink party, which was well worth the price, with four wine stations, a huge paella, and other snacks as well.

Didn’t know what happened that day. There are two appetizer(grilled pulpo and pork belly) we ordered sold out that day, but we wait 30 minutes to be notified. Which we have to wait nearly 30 minutes with no food. We also ordered tuna and shrimp, but it’s way too pricey with only 4 tuna and 5 shrimp for 12~15 dollars. We ordered half seafood pella, but can’t barley feed three people(two women and one man). The waitress is nice and patient, the cheese and ham she recommends are nice. Overall, I wish they should have told us earlier, so we don’t have to starve at the beginning, and the serving speed can be faster.

Delicious evening in Boqueria. Started with the Summer Gin & Tonic which was perfect for an outdoor patio drink. Ordered the ensalada vasca, the escalivada and the tortilla española (pictures below!). Then we ordered a small paella de mariscos which was IMPECCABLE! Perfect to share some tapas and the small paella if you're hungry. We finished the evening with flan 🍮 and it was perfect. The food is extremely well made and the atmosphere is so relaxing. Service was wonderful, the waitress helped us fix our table before we started ordering. Great location, definitely worth it!!!

Music was way too loud for dine in. Food was okay but not too surprising. The portion was a bit small. We ordered three appetizers and a seafood pella but it can barely feed 3 ppl. A little bit expensive since we had to get something else after the dinner. We want to order the pork belly and grilled pulpo but they do not have them today, which was quite disappointing. The seafood pella was pretty salty though.

We just moved to the neighborhood and went to a flamenco show. The atmosphere was very festive, and made me miss Spain. I loved that they have a list for vegetarian and vegan tapas, although vegan is not every clearly pointed. Eggplant with miel is not with miel (honey), but sugar which would make it vegan. The dish is beautifully presented in way that when I ordered the table next ours asked about and ordered too. White sangria was delicious too! Memorable night! Love the food! "Olé! to the show! I have a list of people I want to bring next time.
Get a reservation before coming. On Tapas Tuesday they have 9 options of Tapas for $8. You must get their muscles (Mejillones con Tomate) and order an extra plate of bread to dip. The bread is phenomenal. The Setas Salteadas (mushrooms) are great. Everyone I go with tends to agree that some of their plates could use a bit more seasoning. Their croquettes are decent. They have a great wine selection. Very small beautiful restaurant. Their service is incredible and I appreciate that. They explain every dish they bring out to you.

4 of my friends and myself had ordered 2 Chef's Feasts. The food came out at a great pace and really defied my expectations. The dining experience really felt like it was meticulously planned out and we all came out feeling both full and fulfilled.
New restaurant, new experience. Was not disappointed. The food was great and the sangria was outstanding. Only thing I could say is take it easy on the potatoes and add more of the food substance.
Such a great tapas restaurant! You feel like you’re in Barcelona! They recommend 2-3 tapas per person but we got 7 total for a group of 4 and were stuffed for lunch.

Everything we got was delicious, but my favorites were:
- eggplants on labne with fresh herbs
- Albondigas
- Octopus
- Tortilla (I admit I am usually not a big fan of this dish because it’s kind of basic but they did a fantastic job with it! Fluffy and flavorful)

Went for Sunday brunch, food is top quality & delicious. Drinks were also great. Staff is friendly & accommodating. The space is also very cute and has a great bar and outdoor area. Highly recommend
We chose Taberna for our wedding ceremony and party. Everything was perfect. First of all we would like to thank all the staff for their support and kindness for accommodating all our requests.
The ceremony and the party went great. The room for the ceremony was perfect, la granja for the dinner was well prepared and the food and wine were amazing as always.
We also want to thank the personnel. They were very kind and professional at our wedding.
The flamenco show was amazing as well.
We really enjoyed our wedding and we are very happy to have chosen Taberna as the venue for our wedding.
overall, a very solid spanish restaurant. the sangria was really good and the paella was very delicious. the tapas were also really good, a little overpriced in my opinion for their size, but still really good.

we were there for the flamenco show and it was pretty good. the dancer herself was awesome, she did very very well! the only thing i would have liked was if they introduced her. She started her show without anybody introducing it or saying what her name was. Something else was that in another one i went to in Spain, they dim down the lights and focus the lights on the dancer/stage. I feel like the restaurant/dancer could benefit from this. but for sure she should be introduced before she begins.

One of my favorite places for a bite when I crave variety. There are plenty options for tapas ranging from vegetarian to meaty. Our favorite were patatas bravas (big portions too), scallops, and chorizo. We also very much enjoyed a plate of olives (on the house). The waitress and service was amazing! We’ll be back!

The service was fantastic, quick to resolve any issues and the meal arrived fairly quickly. Atmosphere was a bit cold.
Be mindful to check what dishes come cold/warm before ordering.
Reasonably affordable if you go with the tapas lunch.
I go here sometimes with my mom and have never been disappointed. The food is always fresh and the staff is nice.I reccomend the cream of asparagus.
This was literally the best sangria I've ever had. It tasted so authentic, not just some wine and sprite like most places serve.
As far as the food goes, even the complimentary bread was so good and warm we had to order a second basket. Everything we ordered raised the bar a bit more and the meal as a whole was worth every penny spent. Not to mention that aside from tasting amazing, the food was very "feel good" with a lot of hearty veggies and proteins.
Unfortunately I have a friend that lives in the area so I'm going to end up spending a heinous amount of money at this establishment. I will absolutely be returning many times.

Just enjoyed a wonderful dinner here. The food was presented nicely and tasted just as great. The staff are also extremely friendly and fun to socialize with. I personally recommend the artichoke fritters and Caesar salad.
One of my favorite places for date night! Food, service, and ambiance are all great. The prices are very fair as well. Great selection of tapas and paellas. Both red and white sangrias are awesome. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back! Go with a reservation to avoid long waiting times.

My boyfriend and I came here for his birthday, and it was everything and more. The food was amazing, the drinks were complimentary to the food and the music made me feel at home.

We had the Arancini, Albondigas, Lamb (not shown), and Black Cod(not shown). I wish I could remember the name of the drinks, but they were really good.

Frank, our waiter and bartender, was very helpful in helping us pair our drinks with our food as well as just being an overall pleasure to be around. He even was able to make a drink for me that wasn’t on the menu, of which was just as delicious.

We will definitely be going back for more.

The food was excellent. The croquetas de jamon were the best I’ve ever had, and the ensalada de alcachofa was a fresh and zesty surprise. We had the Boqueria Experience and it was well worth the price for the amount of dished we tried.
The tapas were super fun for our group. The cocktails were nice! I really liked the mezcal and whisky based cocktails. The octopus and cheese board were great. I didn’t enjoy the paella or the pork belly. The restaurant is super load and echos. That was a bit annoying.

Found this delicious Spanish food around our hotel. Travel with my daughter to celebrate her graduation from junior high to the States and the waiter is very friendly. The smells transported me back to Spain. Good service and love to re-visit this week.
I've been wanting to go here for a while and finally had a chance on my bday last week. Wow, was I blown away! Gorgeous intimate setting, perfect for a date night. The service we had was stellar. Very knowledgeable and welcoming staff. The food was done very well.

Had dinner, The Classic, here on Juneteenth. EVERYTHING was excellent! Perfectly balanced margarita, knock your socks off pineapple sangria, and the lightest summertime red vermouth with soda an orange.

Hats off to the chef, bartenders Cat and Vas.

Boqueria Dupoint is unequivocally one of the best Spanish restaurants in DC. Add this restaurant to your “must frequently visit” list.
Great place for any night out or to celebrate a special day. We have wanted to visit for a while as we live a ways away. We save it for our anniversary since we are fans of tapas in general. They quickly found out and proceeded to make it memorable.
We did not expect such a huge offering for happy hour, but we highly recommend it. Even at regular price, everything looked like it was worth it. The portions are nice, and the creative recipes are out of this world. The desserts looked great as we, but we elected to go for premium chocolate truffles nearby.
We will definitely be coming back and are set to send some of our visitors here for a great date night experience.
Too many nice things to say of the staff that helped us (and noticed they were doing the same for others) make the evening special.
Great job!
Second time at Boqueria and this time was for a work dinner with colleagues. Here are my thoughts!

Environment
This was my first time eating in the restaurant (last time we sat outside) and it was really nice. Looks like they have plenty of seating for dinner and a bar area as well. Really great atmosphere and casual eats and for a date night.

Service
The server was amazing. She made sure we had everything we needed and did a great job of managing our big group. She was receptive and friendly and attentive to our table. Really enjoyed her.

Food
We all got 'The Classics" option on the chef menu which gives you a few of the favorites off the full tapas menu. It was a really nice option with something for everybody. It was easy and delicious and the food just kept coming out! There was enough food for everyone and very filling and tasty. I really enjoyed the potatoes, the croquettes, and the meatballs. the drinks were good and strong. The churros were amazing!

Overall
Lovely place and great atmosphere. Really enjoyed the food and the drinks. I will definitely return to try more things on the menu and add this to the list of great spots for dinner and drinks.

First time visiting Ultreia, and the fantastic food makes a return visit highly likely. I enjoyed the pan con tomate y jamon serrano, setas and pulpa.
As always, the 9th Door was excellent starting at the reception, the customer service, the waiters, the chef, the food and most importantly, the establishment itself. I had brought my brother, niece and father here for their first time and they all left highly impressed, truly satisfied, and fully stuffed from the excellent food choices they made off of the menu. I highly recommend this 5-star restaurant to others.
I love spanish cuisine and ate the best food all around Spain.
I was looking forward to finding a good spot in Boston and safe to say that Barcelone Wine Bar is it!

We shared some popular and unpopular tapas (4 tapas for 2) and they were all delicious.

My highlight was the bread! One of the most delicious and crispy breads ever and I asked where they source it. They said it s from Iggy’s Bread in Cambridge.

Tapas best to worse rating (they re all great):
Patatas Bravas
Croquetas
Artichoke Hummus
Olives

Our servers were very friendly and the wine was also delicious.
When you wanna go for shared plates, not a whole big meal, this place is awesome!

My spouse and I celebrated our 17th anniversary at La Taberna, and we were treated like royalty. There was a beautiful heart-shaped decoration made with red rose petals on the white tablecloth and two glasses of champagne. After lunch we had a plate of cookies and a mini muffin with a candle, the words "Happy Anniversary" written in chocolate. The service was excellent and all the tapas delicious! Victor and all of the staff were very respectful and sweet. We'll be back!

I absolutely love this place! Best dish on menu right now is the Duck. I find myself having to back every other week, it's so beautifully done every time. You can tell the chef and crew love what they do!!
Wonderful experience! Decoration, atmosphere, service, food… everything perfect and authentically Spanish. Very good quality of products and kitchen.
Taberna del Alabardero exceeded all expectations! We had been here once before and the food was amazing. And this time, we came for our Anniversary since our go-to place had shut down, BLT Prime by David Burke in the old Trump building which had an unmatched atmosphere(I'll include a picture). Anyway, in the reservation, I put that it was our anniversary. I normally add in the special occasion but nothing much really comes of it. Well, this is where Taberna del Alabardero exceeded our old go-to spot and any place we'd been before. They gave us a corner booth by the kitchen, fresh rose petals all over the table, and a handwritten Happy Anniversary card. Let me tell you, the look on my girlfriends face, how special it made her night, it sealed itself as the new special occasion go-to. Not only that, the food was amazing as usual, I got the lamb, and the service was impeccable, not over the top annoying but always there the second you need something. So if you're someone looking for a special occasion spot, I wouldn't look anywhere else, they'll take care of you and your significant other to a degree that I haven't seen anywhere else!

I can't believe how delicious this place is. I got the Chef's Feast thinking it'd be a handful of tapas and a main dish. Oh wow, it is an amazing deal if you're not picky and just want to try everything. I feel like the chef read my mind anyways and I got to eat everything I was thinking about trying anyways. It came with 6 tapas and 1 larger plate and I was completely stuffed. I won't spoil the entire list for anyone else considering the Chef's Feast but highly recommend it. Might even be enough for 3 people. My favorite by far were the Moorish Ribs. Absolutely just fell off the bones.

Fun vibe here in a train station that takes you back to the 1930s. I take full blame for choosing a very seafood/meat heavy restaurant when I prefer vegetables and chicken. I recommend going for dessert because the drinks (cucumber lime agua fresca and blueberry shrub mocktail) and churros were excellent. My mom loved the bacon wrapped dates. The veg dishes I did eat were okay but not great. The grain salad was too bitter even when not combined with the shishito crema and the potatoes themselves were bland but the sauce gave the dish flavor. Let me know how the seafood dishes are!

A longstanding independent restaurant. We went twenty years ago and again last month after returning to the area. Still great. Authentic setting, great food, attentive service. So much to enjoy. Parking will be a challenge. Easy accessibility from B green line T.
This restaurant has my heart. They have a great happy hour and people do not take advantage of it enough! Recommend everything but especially their paella, seafood dishes, and jamón serano!

We love Mood and District 11 in the back. Always great tapas, fantastic service, one of a kind atmosphere. No matter who walks into the door Colby always gives them his 100%,. Cocktails never disappoint whether you go for classic, experimental or booze free option. You wish for something, they make it happen. The best Happy Hour in town!
Service was good. Server did a very responsible job. To be honest was less than I was expecting. Tapas were okay but no excellent. Shrimp in garlic was 6 tiny baby shrimp for 10 bucks… whatever. It came out cold. The most disappointing was the paella. I literally could see the bottom of the pan. Extremely salty. Most of the shells were empty, no shrimp, no scallops, no squid. Rice was burnt but not properly crispy socarrat style. 3 wedges of lemon topping the paella were the largest garnish in a 56,00 meal. The restaurant in general made me feel in a quite different place than Barcelona.

Located inside the historic Union Station. We were introduced to Ultreia while on a food tour in Denver, and this was our last stop.

We tried their 'Pastel de Nata', which is a Portuguese custard tort, perfect as dessert...it was simply delicious. I can't wait to return and try more of their menu items.

Overall, we had a great experience at Ultreia.
It is worth the visit! It is a Tapas restaurant, one of the best in Chicago! The food was delicious but not exceotional. The service made the experience memorable. What i absolutely loved were the spicy margaritas which were absolutely delicious, despite the interesting twist The restaurant was busy certainly, a great sign that something special is happening. I recommend the restaurant, one i plan to visit again!
Absolutely phenomenal tapas, top-notch service, and a great atmosphere. My wife and I stopped by for a date night and everything we ordered was incredible. We ordered some tapas that we had in Spain, like pan con tomate and jamon serrano, along with some unique tapas we haven't tried before, like a special flatbread with quail eggs, and it was all incredible. The portion sizes are solid for the price and our server was incredibly attentive, swapping out our dishes and refilling our water regularly. We highly recommend stopping by and we can't wait to be back to try more tapas!
We came here for an anniversary and we’re treated incredibly well. The chefs experience is phenomenal. A well assembled series of tapas that balanced so many flavors. Boqueria is a top choice in Fulton market and one you won’t regret. We recommend their sangria as well!
Loved this place, awesome ambience, quite traditional look of the restaurant. Sangrila was irresistible, had multiple pitchers. Great selection of wines. Food was too good. Pulpo a La Gallega was yummy, both shrimp n chicken ones were yummy. They have few veggie options though.

This place was AMAZING. The drinks were BEAUTIFUL.. those lamb sliders are so good I can't wait to go back for just them. I think they could benefit from putting mashed potatoes on the menu because having my salmon with French fries was a bit GHETTO and the fries were over cooked and nasty.. And the garlic shrimp were also delicious but could benefit from a good side... But I will be back for the lamb sliders

Vibe/ambiance of this place is incredible. A fantastic date night kind of place. Favorites were the mushroom, eggplant, and scallops. Basque cheesecake was definitely not as sweet as a NY style, though the texture was amazing. It was my first time trying basque cheesecake and it was not even close to sweet enough for me, wouldn’t order again, but get it if you like desserts that aren’t as sweet!

They are also a dog friendly restaurant! ❤️
I don’t often go out to eat having the doggy with me but sometimes is nice to have options when you happen to be out with your fur friend and need a meal!
I grabbed a quick brunch, it was super tasty, salmon was fresh and the home fries were excellent!
A great place for a quick bite to eat before a long stroll through Central Park!
Great food I decided to place an order after I got a sent from the kitchen.
Excellent Tapas and breakfast sandwiches. Amazing desserts and drinks. Did feel bad for our servers who seemed to attend to the outside and inside of the restaurant, might have been a understaffed for a busy day. But they did an amazing job and gave us drink coupons for delays in service which was unnecessary but very much appreciated. Great for groups.

I went here because it was near a breakfast place I wanted to try but was too busy. Lucky me, it was a great experience. Our server was very friendly. The food was really good and the pancakes were the best I have ever had. I would definitely go back. I was a little disappointed that the menu was relatively limited for brunch.
Exceedingly delicious. I lived in Spain and this is my favorite tapas place in Chicago. Wine is well priced
Best tapas restaurant in Chicago. The food is simply exquisite. If you are a fan of skirt steak like myself, this is the place to be. The chicken skewers delicious and my wife salad was out of this world. Get out of downtown chicago, it will be worth the trip. Thank you Bulerias for a great evening!!!

Charming and lively place. Very much like being in Spain. Festive atmosphere, big main room with warm colors and friendly, cozy feel. Food was authentic tapas and other dishes. Stand outs were the special pork skewer, sliced steak appetizer with sauce, shrimp in garlic sauce, octopus and potatoes, and breaded fried chorizo. Paella was surprisingly not awesome but everything else was memorable. Bartender was excellent shaking spicy margaritas, mojitos, and lots more. Enthusiastic friendly staff all covering for each other like one happy family. They have an agreement with Whole Foods down the street and restaurant will provide a dated flyer to put on your dash for free parking in big Whole Foods lot two minute walk away. Great idea. Excellent dessert menu too with plenty of choices.

The food was very authentically Spanish, the service was so friendly, and it was just an overall great experience! We did the tasting menu and it was so fun to not know what was coming but to get to have a taste of a bunch of different things!
Really delicious tapas restaurant w/ a slightly smaller menu. They explain every dish to you when it comes out which I really enjoyed. $8 Tuesdays if you don't have to dine in on the wknd! The croquettes are a MUST! Will be back again to bring more friends.
We have been on the hunt for a good tapas place in Denver and this spot is definitely our favorite so far! They had oysters and a green bean special, both of which were amazing! We also liked their patatas bravas, jamon croquets, lamb meatballs and crema catalana.
Amazing setting but service and food just wasn't that great. Signature paella was overly oily/buttery with little flavor. Shrimp was alright but the bread just didn't quite work with the oil around the shrimp, felt like the flavor wasn't developed enough. Mushroom croquettes were also alright - they had an overwhelming truffle flavor so I wasn't a big fan. Server seemed to have an attitude with us not ordering that much but maybe I was just misinterpreting. Not sure if this just isnt my taste or if its something else.

Food and drinks were good. It’s tapas so we ordered about 8 small plates for 4 people and we were all stuffed. Prices are reasonable but they charge for using a credit card. Make a reservation ahead of time if possible.
Good drink selection. Definitely a sports bar first and foremost-- t.v.s are accessible all around the room. Service was good. Menu had some nice options, but our group opted for guac and chips just as a snack, which was really yummy.
Great time eating some delicious Spanish cuisine and enjoying the show. The lamb and mushroom rice was delicious. The eggplant with honey was a great surprise. Drinks are strong and tasty. My server gave excellent recommendations and was friendly.
It’s hard for me to give 5 star to any place:) but this Tapas/Spanish/ Basque pintxos restaurant is just cherry on the top! The food is delicious, presentation and freshness 10/10! You can compare this restaurant to San Sebastián which has many Michelin stars under their belt. The food is explosion of flavors and authentic!!! The owner/ Chef Brian Murphy is truly a delightful soul to talk. He is knowledgeable and very attentive. The average cost per person will be around $50 but worth every dollar. Hard for me to remember the dishes I tried so the bill is attached and I tell you, every dish was worth every Penny. Thoroughly enjoyed my dinner tonight and thank you staff for the passion and love you serve the customers! Will surely be a frequent flyer here💕
Intimate, rustic ambiance that delivers fresh variety of traditional tapas & drinks. We dined on a Saturday evening when they had a fantastic flamenco performance
Edit - upping to a 4/5 because I tried their main tapas menu - they are amazing! True score is 3.5/5 though - got undercooked pork for one tapas which is pretty bad.

Everything slapped, all dishes AT LEAST 4/5 (other than the undercooked pork). Drinks still feel average, and prices are expensive for the tapas, even though they were fun.

Pretty slick place that I’d like to try again. Average tasting cocktails for pretty expensive price. Got dessert with drinks here and the desert was beautifully dressed, but a bit to eclectic for my taste. It had thyme and cilantro on ice cream, straight up yuck. I’d like to visit for the actual food and re-rate in the future.
In the heart of Humboldt Park’s WOW District lies a cozy little spot overflowing with Spanish delights: Bulerias Tapas Bar.

My wife and I rarely get to enjoy a night out with no kids, so we wanted to make our evening count. As soon as we stepped through the door at Bulerias, we knew we had made the right decision.

We had never eaten tapas before, and I have to say I was a little intimidated to try this new cuisine. However, my worries were immediately swept away by the warm friendly smile and genuinely kind greeting of the owner, Mariena. From that moment on, we felt right at home.

As we walked to our table I felt as if I had been whisked away to another time and place. The exposed brick and antique wooden surroundings were reminiscent of the old country, while the elegant light fixtures gave the dining area a dimly lit touch of timeless class.

After we were seated, the real fun began.

Thanks to an excellent recommendation from our server, we ordered a delicious bottle of imported Spanish red that paired PERFECTLY with our first dish:

Datiles - bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with goat cheese and drizzled with homemade balsamic reduction and red pepper butter sauce.

Its presentation was as immaculate as its taste. Each bite was filled with a heavenly mix of flavors and textures. Crisp savory bacon, the soft sweetness of dates, and the creamy tartness of goat cheese sent my senses into Ecstasy.

As the night went on, each sip of wine filled my body with a warm feeling of joy. Time melted away as the sound of trendy background music drowned out the hustle and bustle of the city around us.

After our Datiles, we took a figurative trip to the Spanish seaside with a steaming bowl of Sopa de Mariscos (Seafood Soup). This soup is made, one serving at a time, with mussels, calamari, shrimp, and salmon that all taste as if they had just been plucked from the cold blue depths of the sea.

Next, we sampled the owner’s favorite dish: Jamon Serrano con Queso. The combination of a crunchy crostini rubbed with cool tomato, topped with the silky-smooth flavor of thinly sliced ham, and the zesty taste of Manchego cheese was absolutely delicious.

After the first three dishes (and a bottle of wine), we wanted to order one more dish, but we weren’t sure what to get. Luckily, Mariena had just the thing! She told us to try the Paella Bulerias: Authentic Spanish saffron rice, seafood, chicken and vegetables, cooked and served in a traditional Paella pan. It takes 30-45 minutes to make since it is made from scratch with every order. Good things come to those who wait. It was worth every mouth-watering bite!

To conclude our meal, we got a couple of glasses of Bulerias’ famous sangria. My wife had the Sangria Roja, while I enjoyed the Peach. Both were not only exquisite but quite possibly the most refreshing beverages that have ever touched my lips.

Looking back, our entire evening was spent in a “flow state” of pure pleasure. My wife and I ate, drank, talked, and laughed the night away. Although we were there for over three hours, the whole experience flashed by in the blink of an eye. (I wish I could say the same for our kids’ babysitter!)

Bulerias is, without a doubt, our new favorite restaurant in Chicago, and I can’t recommend it enough! Its intimately rustic layout combined with its upbeat vibe, friendly service, and delicious delicacies makes it the perfect place to enjoy a night out with friends and loved ones.

Huge thank you to the gentleman who served us and the owner, Mariana, for taking care of us and giving us the best anniversary dinner we’ve ever had! ¡Gracias por todo!

We will be back!
I don’t know whyyy this place is 4.3 star when it definitely should be a 5! Had the best best carne casera and house salad ever!! Sad that I don’t live in Illinois because I would definitely come back. (As you can tell)
We had a great, “dinner tapas,” experience here. We were in the area for other reasons and we stopped there for dinner. It wasn’t busy around 5-6ish, so we got seated right away. My daughter ordered a peach sangria, which was delicious when I tasted it as I went with the classic, Estrellas. We ordered cream of asparagus to start off with, then 5 tapas for our main course, so we could had a bit of every savourer tastes that we could expect from a Española restaurant in The US. Everything was delicious, I must say. We did not ordered the Paella it is usually very filling and because we wanted to ordered a variety of tapas dishes, which we did not regret at all. Service was excellent, ambiance very authentic, we were able to enjoy the, “Flamenco” show and price was reasonable. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to explore another Country’s specialties. I would go back to tastes the others dishes that we didn’t order.

Very cute ☺️ modern style restaurant. Tad small stylish and cozy restaurant for a date or a nice brunch with some gals. Went for a brunch with a friend, we both loved our food. The menu ideas are very attractive and flavorful.

Their mojito slushees are the BEST. ( actually came back a couple of times after that brunch date) perfect for a spring/ summer days.
Service was a bit slow due to the amount of customers that day, a bit mediocre for my taste but food and drink made up for it.

The bar area is pretty snug. Unfortunately not a space to enjoy a drink with someone.

Their happy hour is very tempting but unfortunately they don’t include their signature mojito slushees there.

I freaking loved my dining experience here! The staff was so friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, truthful (about recommendations and dishes) as well as accommodating. Not only was the staff amazing but the food, tapas and paella was top notch! Everything I had the pleasure of tasting was seasoned well and delivered promptly. Just make sure that if you will eat a paella you account for the time it takes to cook, it’s made from scratch so you might wait 20-30 minutes for it. The great thing about that is that the tapas are a small morsel that can keep you at bay while you wait for it. If you take the train it will be much easier however if you drive make sure you call ahead and get a parking ticket so you can park at whole foods on the opposite corner. The music was soft, the lighting romantic and the overall vibe very cozy. Just keep in mind there are some steps to get into the main dining area.
Food was above average tasting, we were just surprised by how expensive things were for what we got with the food. We got the croquetas, empanadas, sangrita, and patatas bravas. Service was fine.
Service was great and friendly. Food was fantastic. We were there on a Saturday nighty and there was a Spanish flamenco dancer, who was beautiful and entertaining. The biggest issue was the placement of the wooden stage, where the edge of the stage was too close to the entrance and exit pathway, so quite a few people stumbled and almost faceplanted.

Came for Happy Hour and filled up on tasty Latin food! Great food, drinks, and a fun vibe that even families came in to dine!
While I love this location and the staff was super friendly, the food was just not great. The bacon wrapped dates were good, but the potatoes were bland and our meatballs were literally raw in the middle. At $15-$20 per small plate, this place was super underwhelming.
Modern rustic with an old world flair. Absolutely delicious. My son and I went for dinner.
We ordered red sangria, Ensenada Casa-house salad, Albondigas Espanolas-Spanish meatballs in homemade orange honey rib sauce served with saffron rice, Jamon Serrano con Queso-traditional Serrano ham with Manchego cheese and four tomato rubbed crostini, Datiles-four bacon wrapped dates and creme Brule for dessert.
Heavenly. All of it. Salad was fresh, with subtle yet distinctive flavors. Meatballs were a lovely surprise of flavors and bacon wrapped dates were perfection.
4-5 entrées were perfect for 2 people.
Absolutely going back.
Service was perfect; prompt, and friendly.

The food and service at this place is always top notch it keeps you coming back. It seems as though they are always adding new items to the menu which is fun because I get to try something new everytime I stop by. The mango margarita is my fave drink and during happy hour it's only $8 bucks!!

Update: 4/20/21 - I went back again and the food is just as delicious as it always is. The staff is always kind and attentive. I tried the salsa verde quesadilla and I was in heaven. This will definitely be my new favorite dish!
