The Statue has been ruined with a new erection of a chair statue that has been placed directly in front of the Queen Victoria Statue. A shame really

A statue of Queen Victoria stands in front of the National Library in Valletta. It stands in a beautiful place, on a beautiful square. It is nice to watch and photograph it.

Crowded near by. Amazing statue. People enjoying themselves at the little plaza.

Look for the position of Queen Vic on the pedestal!! Survived the square being flattened in the Second World War, but it shifted her on her pedestal. Definitely stop for cocktail at the Tikka bar. Experience true Maltese hospitality& great cocktails (especially the Tikka)!

Wonderful little quaint square with chairs and tables on the periphery and the centre attraction is Queen Victoria, outside the bibliotek.
