Santi Vincenzo e Anastasio a Fontana di Trevi

This is a nice little Baroque church located at Piazza di Trevi which is convenient to visit while spending time around Trevi Fountain.

Historically, this is 17th-century church designed by Martino Longhi the Younger, built upon the grounds of a 10th-century Medieval church.

The column filled facade is elegant while the interior features a single nave with side chapels and main altar with nice artworks. The central ceiling fresco is rather nice as well.

It is a nice little church worth a quick look-see when you pass by Trevi Fountain.

A beautiful church by the Trevi Fountain. Worth going in to take a look. We enjoyed our visit.

Somewhere to rest and relax before or after visiting Trevi Fountain

It’s gorgeous and very calming. I’m amazed. More people should definitely visit this church after the Trevi Fountain.

We found this beautiful little church set diagonal from the Trevi Fountain, Saint Vincenzo e Anastasio is draped in History, With its beautiful statues and ceiling paintings it is one not to be missed. There are several stations throughout this little church with patron saints and with a donation of your choice you can either light a candle and say a prayer and take one of the Saint cards to have for your memories. You can also purchase rosary beads at the door being sold by a nun for a couple of euros.
