Immerse yourself in the unique world of Christiania, Copenhagen's self-proclaimed "free town." Founded in 1971, this vibrant neighborhood pulsates with an alternative vibe. Explore streets adorned with colorful murals, browse quirky shops for handcrafted goods, and savor delicious food from open-air cafes. Be sure to experience the energetic atmosphere, but remember to be respectful of the community's rules, which include no photography in certain areas. Christiania is a must-visit for anyone seeking a glimpse into Copenhagen's unconventional side.😊
❤️❤️❤️This is an area where it’s looks like a hippie area, they have some wall arts around. Metal artist, paint artist and even a restaurants and cafes and other things you need to discover yourself if you want some adventure.

I feel same to walk around because they have some police walking and patrolling around here. Will definitely visit again after they finish the renovation they’ve been doing around the area to create a safer environment

This self-proclaimed autonomous neighborhood in Copenhagen known for its alternative lifestyle, communal living, and unique culture, which allows you to see a completely different side of Copenhagen. There are many interesting houses and cool arts. It’s definitely safe to visit during the day time and worth visiting.

A wonderful unique blast of color in the middle of Copenhagen. This place is well worth a visit but is also newfound some construction at the moment so keep that in mind

A mix of old fun hippie vibes and lots of graffiti alongside nature bring this whole place together into a fun mix

Definitely worth a visit

I don't know how it is in the evening/night but in the daytime there was just no one except large amount of tourist. Pusher street is closed for renovation, so there is nothing really there. Many street food kiosks around. Nice for walking around and seeing some graffiti and local art. Not as expected but still ok.

This is an interesting area with the opportunity to see some unique art and several market stalls selling things like jewellery and t-shirts. It's quirky and different but also grubby in parts and definitely somewhere best visited during daytime hours.

I was skeptical that I'd enjoy the area based on how it's often framed as a center for vice. Instead, I found Christiana to be very much community oriented and full of kind people. I felt safe the entire time we walked around. There are a number of unique shops and arts and crafts worth considering. I felt like it's worth adding to those "don't miss" lists of places to go.
