Worth the trip on the way to Nauset Lighthouse. Cool story behind them

They say from the sea they looked like three women in white dresses with black hats, hence the name. They were moved inland due to erosion. Now they sit in a grassy area you walk to from where you park. Well kept place, history is pretty cool.

These are some nice lighthouses. I went here while visiting Cape Cod and was satisfied with my experience. These three lighthouses are small grey lighthouses that used to be located on the coast but were moved here because of erosion. These lighthouses were converted to rooms for people to stay in, but they’re now closed. I gave these lighthouses five stars because it was amusing to see how they were moved from the coast inland to a small clearing surrounded by forest.

Great roadside stop. Signage explains about the history of lighthouses on the Cape. Nice peaceful place, not a lot of parking though!

These gals are a quick turn off a freeway and hidden in some trees. They have been moved from their original spot on the coast. One Sister still remains her light. For a lighthouse nut, like me, it was worth it.

This was my first lighthouse tour, and I went with movie expectations. I was very underwhelmed. If you’ve never seen a lighthouse before, don’t let this be your first stop because these are retired lighthouses that are barely two stories tall. HOWEVER, they are cute and have a wonderful little history and in the summertime you can go inside at least one of them. They’re a short walk from Nauset, so worth a peak if you’re already visiting the area.

We went in the off season, so we were the only ones there. There are five parking spaces, so I imagine those fill up fast in the summertime. The lighthouses are grouped fairly close together along a paved path, so not bad for those that can’t walk far.

Went here to relax on Labor Day. This is a nice and quiet little place to picnic or sit down. Parking is free and has a 30 minute limit, but there isn't really much enforcement over the rule. The ranger is out until around noon and takes you inside of the lighthouses and tells you a bit about the history of these lighthouses. Overall definitely recommend, it was fun looking around and learning about the history of these lighthouses!
