One of the busiest station with many visitors or tourists but lack of staff as customer service or as information centre so can help confused passengers/tourists to get info about platform to wait for the train. I asked one officer who sat on information desk for train to pisa san rossore and she told me to wait at platform 3. We waited for almost 1 hour there's no train approaching. And we found out at Last minute that we waited at the wrong platform.

It was a strike day, but many kindness people helped me.
Nice clean and busy station. Unfortunately, a lot of confusion around platform numbers and labels on trains. Our train was leaving from platform 5. The entrance was marked closed. I guess we were supposed to figure out that entrance 7 was for 5. When we got to the train, there was nothing to indicate that the train at the platform was 4031 to Livorno. I asked a passenger about 1 minute before departure and he said to jump on the train it goes to Livorno. We almost missed it!
Pretty good. Congestion creates chaos but generally gets you there in relative comfort for the money.
This train station is safe and clean. I enjoyed riding on these high-speed trains. The train station is modern with multiple platforms, and LED information boards. There are also a few places to eat inside. If you need help, there are a lot of people working at the station on the platforms you can ask. If you are traveling by train, I do recommend you download their app.
Easy to navigate, just look for the Departure board and your train number. Came from Rome, left at 7:50 AM and returned at 6:40 PM. worth the trip.
Train service is good. A bit expensive going to Milan. But of course 2h express train VS. 5h regular has a price. Anyway... Just try to purchase your tickets in advance so you get more options (trenitalia web page my fave). 🚌 Also if you're planning to take a bus ride BE AWARE!!!! You need to activate your ticket as soon as you get on it. Controllers are hunting for tourists, so they will give so many tickets is unbelievable 😲. Even with your receipt, is a 40€ p.p.
