Pure trash lived in Hartford all my life and this movie theater went down, looks abandoned, the ceiling is damage by water. Only seen one or two people working the concession stand and the tickets. The only thing that was cool was the arcade room. Not wasting my time at this theater, apple cinema stop being so CHEAP and remodel the theater. P.S your movies and food are too expensive do better.

You can tell they went and still going downhill after 2020 and the rise of streaming services. They have a lease sign, the parking lot needs upkeeping, no signs where the bathrooms are, heck what happened to seeing a movie in red writing next to the movie number?, skeleton crew of movie workers, I also don’t like how their small cup is more like a middle/big cup. It’s only a matter of time Apple Cinema will be no more.

This place has gone wayyyyyyyyyy downhill. I felt like I was going to see a movie in an abandoned dirty building. Took 15 minutes to get our tickets and there were only two people ahead of us, then when we got to our seats they were filthy and clearly not cleaned between showings and possibly for several - photo of my seat as I arrived says it all.

Hello, I came to the Apple Cinema Xtreme at 330 New park Ave Hartford,CT and I got there at 12:00pm and they charged me and the Individuals that I brought with me 12.00 for matinae movie they don't even have senior discount for elderly people so we won't go there anymore seating was great thank God I know how to read to go to the right theater cause there's no one to help find the right one to go into to see your $12.00 movie.

Arrived to a line of people, only two workers were working. The fact you have to line up in the concessions line to have your ticket scanned blows my mind.
The computer system was down so eventually everyone was allowed to go on in, some people arrived after and just walked straight in, safety wise I don’t think this is safe.
Seats were very nice and comfortable, interesting experience probably wouldn’t go back to this spot. 😩😬🤣

Seats were super comfortable. Theatre was pretty empty so there was only one person at the ticket counter. So we had to wait for him to finish working with another person before he could check our tickets (which we had bought online to save time). We missed a few minutes at the beginning of the movie due to this. So plan to arrive with some extra time in hand.

Make sure you go plenty early. They are ALWAYS way understaffed, even on Bargain Tuesday Night. It blows my mind, that on what they know will be a busy night, they have ONE PERSON doing BOTH ticket sales and concessions. This despite having four or five ticket terminals in the outer lobby, which they don't even bother to turn on anymore. You will miss the beginning of the movie, even considering lots of previews, if you don't get there early. In short - horrible customer service (not to mention disrespect for the patrons) and a long wait to get tickets. The poor guy wearing all the hats is competent, but there's only so much he can do. It used to be like this on the weekends too, so I stopped going. I don't know what staff they have on a Saturday night, but my guess is two. If the theater can't afford even one more staff person during peak times, they should just close. The blame lies completely on the 'management', who apparently don't give $#%& about customer experience. The only reason I'm giving two stars is that the seats are comfortable and they have some interesting multi-cultural films showing, in addition to the mainstream stuff.
