TCL Chinese theater is the theater where a majority of Hollywood movie premieres are held. The architecture of the building (including the exterior as well as the interior of the main theater itself) is very unique and worth the visit to either take a tour or watch a movie here. In the outdoor courtyard before the main entrance, there are a variety of handprints and footprints in concrete from celebrities that were taken during specific movie premieres. Also, plan to come early so you can walk around the lobby and check out the film props on display! Movies are fairly priced here with maybe a slight premium, but it is definitely worth it for the experience of sitting where the filmmakers sit!

Very pretty theather!! First time being here and I was very impressed. You can parking in the structure close by and they validate for 2 hours! (You only have to pay 3 dollars). Generic theater food and there is some alcoholic choices but it's open to whatever they can make that day (they don't have a menu)
We were lucky enough to be accommodated on the Hollywood Walk of Fame during our stay. That's why we walked several times along this long street and the sidewalks are full of stars. There we visited a performance in the Chinese theater. We came from New York, where we attended the premiere of the last Harry Potter at Lincoln Center. Of course, all the main players were present. Great. For my daughter's birthday, we watched this movie again at the Chinese theater. We had to eat snacks. We also enjoyed taking photos and taking selfies with the fingerprints of famous movie stars. It was a really special and unforgettable experience.
This place was the perfect experience for Oppenheimer. It was what Christopher Nolan wanted us to watch it and the theater was a great place for it. The food was average for movie foods but we’re kind of pricey. The atmosphere and quality of screening made up for it. The employees were nice enough to show the film of Oppenheimer( 11 miles, and 600 pounds) which was an awesome thing to witness. Definitely a place to go.
Went to see the Barbie movie at the Chinese theater on the Hollywood boulevard. This movie theater has a lot of cinema history. You can find handprint and foot prints of many actors and actresses. I loved looking for the people I admire on the big screen. This is a must see if you love watching movies as much as I do. There are plenty of other attractions nearby.
Beautiful historic location. It always puts a smile on people's faces putting their hands on the various hand prints. I have been many times in my life and I always find it to be a good time.
