Fort Myers Middle Academy

Great staff! Best school my son has ever been to according to him and myself! They helped him every step of the way and did it with a smile. They really enjoy taking care of our children and that makes me an extremely happy mom!

2/23/2022 I am very disappointed in the school system and the principal Mrs Edwards I came to fort Myers middle to resolve a issue regarding my daughter with her being bullied and harassed in school not only did the principal Edwards racially profile me and try to attempt to belittle me but I am black excellence she suspended my daughter because she protected herself from the kids in that school I filed a police report I also contacted the school district do not send your kids to this school I will be going to the news about my incounnter at this school be blessed

Not safe. Bullying and harassment the of minority students at this school. Do your research. Gang like activities and fights are a daily activity. My youngest had her head bashed off a concrete wall by a boy for sneezing and is threatened by a group of girls daily. The school did not contact me and did not allow my child to contact me for over 2 hours. The school reflects its local environment.

Fort Myers Middle Academy is without a doubt the worst school I could imagine going to. Not only is the ghetto area this school is in a terrible influence to the children attending said school, but it causes the kids to fight and participate in gang related activities, and even drug uses. Some of my closest friends have suffered from the people in this school, and lack of attention that the staff members put towards the issue. The absurd dress code just adds more layers to this cake of a bad school. This school has caused nothing but bad to my friends, and has staff could be better. It doesn't help that they mask this by only showing reviews of people who gave the school a good reading, and getting rid of the other ones. In the end, this school is terrible, and has problems that I couldn't list without hours of explaining. But it's okay, because it's FMMA, where you ride the wave, yeah?

I’m getting my Son out of that place. Ghetto environment, he is approached daily to put up his hands to fight., as well as slap boxing on the bus.... I’m so sorry he has to be exposed to this... admin has to be turning a blind eye to it, because it’s everywhere.... ghetto rules the school..... sorry place, he can hack but he wants out

Fort Myers Middle is a great school. I am a little disappointed with the boys basketball team though. My son works very hard on his grades to play and never got a fair chance in the game because the coach only sees winning. My son practice hard and really has his heart into playing sports but without a chance to play it discourage him. I love the teachers and other staff. If I needed to speak with one they have always been helpful. There was a victory today with the championship game but two little boys did not feel part of the team because they never got a fair chance#Favoritism and Discouragement

The new principle must be trash cuz im in high school and even im hearing about her from kids who go there i also wanted to visit my teacher from last year but turns out she banned visitation smh but i love the teachers here but she fired great teachers to..
