House of Omurice

Really bad food. I can do a better job at home. Nothing like the omurice that you would expect from a place like this, looking at the pictures.

I ordered Café latte and I got a very small cup and the coffee was only 1/4 of the cup.

Located inside Kota Kasablanka Mall. The resto was not that spacious but it's quite comfy. Staffs were nice and kind, very attentive and helpful.

Tried the Dragon Fruit Cocktail, Wakame Miso Soup, Tsukune Teriyaki, Crispy Corn Sweet Salty and Beef Curry Cheese Omurice. The Dragon Fruit Cocktail was sweet and there were bits of pear and basil seeds that added abit of crunchiness. The Wakame Miso Soup was warm and savory tastes like any other miso soup you'll find. The Tsukune Teriyaki was soft and tender, the sauce was sweet but not overly sweet. The Crispy Corn Sweet Salty had an interesting taste as it is sweet, salty and abit spicy at the same time. The corn itself was covered by a crispy batter. I had requested no cheese for the Beef Curry Cheese Omurice to which they complied. But i felt that the amount of Beef, Potato and Carrot were very little (you can literally count them with your fingers).

I came by for late lunch around 2pm, and it is full! No waiting list, but it is full. I still got table for 2. I ordered beef curry cheese corn omurice, tamago salmon tobiko (?), and refilled iced ocha. So far, this is the best omurice in town! ❤️ Sampe mo nangis makan telurnya tuh very creamy, thick and full of joy , the corn rice is moist and smooth, the curry is puurrfect! The portion is quite large, the definition of 1 portion is not enough, but 2 portion is extra. The tamago is very moist! Wonderful experience! The price is quite pricey, but worth the experience for food and service 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I also got presented by pair of cookies on the house, very good attitude.

Additional critics for the resto, maybe it will be great if you could add the menu with the egg is presented as an pillowed egg (on top of the rice) instead of a blanket egg (wrapped the rice), it is a very wonderful experience as others could see on my video, a very thick soft creamy omelette.

Because we came on a weekend, the food serving time was quite long. We have to ask the waiter first to be served. The taste of the food is delicious and I really like the mango smoothies.

Food is not too bad, but space is super small and the waiters are very hard to be called upon. Price is quite fair but they better make the tables bigger and get roomier joint.

I found it ok but nothing too special.
I don"t like the salad sauce (too much mayo!) Also the egg drop soup is too runny and tastes so so. The omurice is good enough. With the price and quality, maybe the price is a bit on higher side.
