Disappointed, beach is not suitable for swimmers, , very dirty water, lots of weed polluted water, suitable for walking along the beach with shoes on, not advisable to take off off your shoes,
A wonderful beach and park that is much less crowded than Woodbine Beach. Currently (May 2024) there are even fewer people at this location due to the closure of Cherry Street and the associated major detour. Having said that, it is a wonderfully peaceful location to visit.
The only food available currently is from the food truck in the main parking lot. In my experience the food was very good offering a variety of fast food. We had a hotdog and fries and both were very good.
This is definitely a bring your own stuff location as there is no retail, commercial or restaurants when compared to Woodbine Beach.

Someone attempted to drift in the parking lot, crashed, got stuck, and abandoned their car at around 2 am. 10/10 very nice park and beach.
A wonderful and peaceful beach, we visited it in early march on a sunny day. Had a good time clicking pictures and sitting there. A good walk from cherry beach to Tommy Thompson park.
This beach is one of the serene places to go because you won’t find more people there. You either can spend your me time there or go with friends it will be fun for relaxation. I go in the winters even. It’s always fun going there. Love this place. Yes, not to miss, you can’t do bonfire there, that’s totally restricted.
Took a little stop here to go to the bathroom before heading somewhere else. Beautiful water and Peaceful. Everyone seemed to be waterboarding, paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking and just enjoying the nice day. A lot of parasailing and what seemed to be a club of them. Very cool to see. So many dogs and owners who took care of their business as well. I never knew this beach was here and I'm so happy we found it ❤️
Great place to launch for a paddle. Water was not the cleanest due to recent heavy rainfall, but okay if not going for a swim. Construction in the area made it difficult to get to.
