Great website my kids sail and are interested
Best kept secret on lake ontario
Best budget club on the lake. Real sailors here --- not disused boat dock drinkers. Friendly and affordable small boat storage and launch. Good social club too.
The Water Rat Sailing Club offers access to dinghy sailing and paddling in Toronto's Outer Harbour beside Cherry Beach. 200 members and their families participate in their dinghies, catamarans, canoes and kayaks. The volunteer-run non-profit co-op was founded in 1969 and has one of the largest Laser fleets in Canada.
Water and beach are pretty dirty. Don't fall out of your laser. Club is not too pretentious.
