Beautiful location, tons of tree coverage, great fire pits, nice bathrooms & showers.

The campsites are beautiful wooded sites. We could see the northern lights and hear the wolves howling. The restrooms were clean with lots of showers and 2 family restrooms. The sites were spacious and had a picnic table and fire ring. They were nice and level with electric hookups.

This would be a fine place to camp in an RV, but with a tent I would choose a different state park, or a nearby state forest. The sites have nice shade coverage but very few trees/bushes between, meaning that you can see at least one or two sites beyond yours. Not much room for larger tents, either. The bathroom and shower facilities are nice, especially the private shower rooms with exterior-facing doors. Signage for washing dishes is confusing, it doesn't seem like there is anywhere you are actually allowed to dump dish water. This campground is very noisy at night, including voices, music, and generators. The first night of our stay I was kept awake until after midnight because there was so much noise (and the campground was probably only at 50% occupancy).

Huge campground that is very spread out with many shaded and secluded sites. The higher number sites are very private. Numerous bathroom/shower buildings.

Great camp grounds, so much to do here, from the paved walking 🚶♀️ or biking trails. Or renting a pontoon or kayaks on this beautiful lake with no cabins on it. Walk or bike to the Mississippi head waters is a short distance from this camp grounds. 🏕

Very nice campground with bath houses and power at the sites. So many things to see and do within a short distance and the bike trails that come right past the campgrounds.

Great campground right in the bike path. There is a small playground for kids. There is firewood available for purchase for $6 a bundle. Electric and non-electric sites available (20, 30 and 50 amp). Campsites are relatively level. Lots of mature red pine surrounding the campsites.
There are a couple of downsides to the campground. First, there is only one dump station and it's only accessible by going to the Bear Paw campground (about a 5 minute drive). Second, some of the campsites get mildly flooded during rain. Third, there is water available for filling your RV, but it's not at each campsite.
