Fantastic public beach for those that don’t want to deal with all the private beach nonsense on 30A. Access was free when I went in June. Can get a little crowded during peak hours but was very open early morning or late afternoon. There are facilities for those that need them.

We love this speech for one main reason it's beautiful but also because you can put up any tent you want and not be mandated to have at a certain length height it's just a perfect little spot

Favorite beach on 30A! This beach is never crowded since they put a limit on who can enter. Either get there early or get there in the afternoon when the early birds get tired. Worth the drive!

The beach is amazing. Getting there that’s the hard part. It’s tucked away. You need to find a park and ride and take a shuttle too the beach. Or if you’re lucky you can find a spot close and walk. But once you are there is beautiful. Lots of space to walk and sit and play in the water. I didn’t see any public bathrooms, no restaurants or snack bars near. The beach I assume is typically used by people staying at the houses near. Beautiful area that we will come back to for sure

Beautiful area but if you come make sure you know all the details. It has a great white sand swimming beach but has no lifeguards. You swim at your own risk. The swimming beach is all the park has to offer. It has a small parking lot. The park doesn't let additional people in if it seems they are at capacity. Check ahead if you want to come. There is no path from the campground to the beach so you have to drive. There is the campground, a lake, and then the beach. The lake has signs for alligators so be careful. If you love sandy beaches and are familiar with rip currents and ocean safety then this is a park you may want to visit.

From sunsets to sunrise, best kept peaceful slice of relaxing "heaven" in Florida. Of course, I haven't experienced them all. But I have been there enough to know I plan to return. Less than 3/4 of a mile from the campgrounds or cabins the park has its on beach to enjoy. Nestle to the park is sizable lakes that connect to the ocean. Clean bathroom accommodations both at the beach area and campsites.
Once there, you can relax, knowing it is a gated park with plenty of Florida Wildlife Rangers and staff.
The area has plenty of restaurants and shopping accommodation. Close to local towns and cities if needing a break from relaxing peace. A must to add to one's bucket list or an annual trip.

The lake and beach are amazing, every camping spot is a very short walk to restrooms and showers, the staff is very friendly. Although pets are allowed, they're not allowed on the beach. So myself and a few others had to drive 30 minutes to Panama City to take our families to a pet friendly beach in order for the family to stay together. Otherwise, this trip was great!
