Agamont Park

A nice park to sit, eat a lobster roll & blueberry poppers, and take in the view. We went during early July and it was too foggy to see very far.

My wife and I love this park in Bar Harbor Maine. We watched the fireworks on the 4th of July. We got there early after the parade and sat up at our spot to watch the fireworks. Highly recommend. Beautiful views.

A really beautiful New England town green with a gazebo and two water fountains. The town has bands and events regularly here during the summer. It is also surrounded by coffee shops, cafes and ice cream parlours. People hang out on the benches and the gazebo all the time. It is very popular in the evening to sit and eat ice cream with the kids in nice weather. Also a good place for lazy dogs to hang out. Enjoy it when you are in town.

Beautiful view of the harbor! Adorable couples on blankets, benches, and sitting in the grass. I think I enjoyed watching the families almost as much as the scenery. It's a well maintained small park with restrooms, trash cans, and on street paid parking. Ice cream, donut, and pizza shops are within walking distance. There are also dine-in options, trinket shops, and jewelry shops. The entire street is basically a nice board walk feel :) It felt safe and friendly.

Beautiful park in the Bar Harbor downtown. Local shops, restaurants, ice cream shops nearby. Great place to sit and relax and enjoy the beauty of the Frenchman Bay. It's well maintained and clean.

if you are in the bar harbor area, you will cross this park multiple times, across the Geddy's. it is an urban park in bar harbor. green space offers stunning views of the ocean and nearby islands, with a full 180 degrees of natural beauty on show from the northwest right around to the southeast. It’s probably the best view in Bar Harbor.

locals say- it is a popular viewpoint to watch the Fourth of July fireworks each year. This is such a peaceful spot to look out at the ships anchored in Frenchman Bay as well as the many islands near Bar Harbor. Grab a space on the lawn to relax or have a picnic and enjoy the view.
