Traditional market with lots of stuff in the market. From local grocery till meat, vegetables and food. Often crowded in the morning and weekend. I suggest you came to this market with motorcycle instead of car, cause parking is another challenge in this market. Small parking space for car located in the side of the road. Price is not a question, its one of the cheapest in the area.

It's clean and neat.
But the variety of groceries is not very diverse.
Went here a few times and always get stuff with decent price.

Located on the northern part Jogja outer ring road. It looks small from the main road but big enough for to find daily cooking necessities. Prices are reasonable and considered cheaper than other markets. You will also find food stalls on the outskirt.

A good shopping place if you are looking for a traditional market. A variety of vegetables and cooking ingredients are available with mostly affordable prices since you can buy it in retail, means you can get to only buy the amount you need. Furthermore, there are also cooked meals and traditional snacks here. It's nice to shop here in the morning while enjoying steaming choco pukis.

I came here just to buy local treats for my morning tea. It's cheap. They have veggies and stuff too so it's a great place to channel your bargain skill. But I think they have to work on their sanitation.
