Great place to walk around. Got dried prawn crackers and dried shrimp you can bring back home to fry. Indonesia is well known for their flavorful crackers.

The bakso stall outside the market is awesome too. Make sure to stop by for a quick meal.

The market is not smelly, and the floor is not wet. Quite an eye-opener for me to see a variety of food/snacks.

Can’t say much about this place as I went on a Sunday so nothing was opened.
Key advice: Don’t go on a Sunday.
I could see that there were many sliver selling shops (based on their signboard). Even the pasar was only 1/4 opened with mainly food stuff.

Nice and traditional market with lots of things to explore for half an hour.

One of the oldest and existing traditional wet market in the heart of Kotagede. Small streets, please don't use your car, an incredible traffic mess in early morning hours. It's better to use your motorcycle, parking available on the perimeter of the market.

I went after 2pm so it was closed but interesting to walk around it... very clean...the outer shops selling snacks and cakes were interesting ...and the street food vendors were gathering.

A legendary traditional market in Jogjakarta. A lot of tasty food with reasonable price available here. The location was very easy to find and surrounded with a historical place. You can both traveling and shopping here.
Always use 50% bargain from the first price of the buyer if you think the price was reasonable. Especiallu for food, better to ask the price first before you buy.
The parking space was located close to the front gate.
