Great place to do some camping if you're not a local and also watch the cruise ships come in in the middle of the night. Something cool about climbing out of your tent at 3:00 in the morning and seeing a huge cruise ship go by to dock.

The campground is good in the fact that no one is bothering you as far management, but it looked as if it'd been a while since a weed eater had been used and could use a spring cleaning, ( oh wait, that was my camper 😯) We stayed a week and saw the rocket 🚀 take off with astronauts headed to the space station. Did some fishing and hung out on the beach. It's all Right there together . Below it says motel, it was not. It's a campground

Jetty Park Camp Ground is in a nice location. Most of the year the beach is nice. There are times when the beach is covered with smelly rotting sea grass and stinging jellyfish. Beach access is difficult. They could at least layout the beach access matting to make it easier. We have been to plenty of beach camping areas where it is used and it is a lot easier to tote your beach gear out on.

The campsites are mostly cramped and difficult to get your rig into. Some sites are just feet apart. If you have a pad, it is usually small. Camping there is dirty. Not because of trash, but because of the roads not being paved and no gravel area around your pad. The grass is worn down and it is mostly dirt and sandy around your campsite.

If it rains, the whole area is a mess. If you spend two days there, you will spend 4 to 5 days cleaning your coach, your vehicle, and all of your camping stuff. Your shoes and bikes will be coated with white phosphate dust. It is frustrating and not worth putting up with.

We have camped here a few times over the years and they have made very few improvements. The bathrooms are pretty poor. They are building a new camp/registration building right now. They told us they would be paving the entire camp area. We suggested gravel at all campsites, BBQ Grills and decent picnic tables. We got the smile and "Yeah that would be nice" response.

What a shame it is. This park could be so much more. I hope they upgrade this park.

Small site with only water, but right on the canal where the cruised ships leave from. Stayed for 1 night, and it was quite an experience, loved it. Will certainly book longer next time
Nice boardwalk with lots of people fishing, and amazing beach.

Great campground in a fantastic location. Beach access and you can watch the cruise ships leave. Friendly service, nice stocked store, really close to a lot of things to do. We have a 21 ft Jayco TT and the spot was nice with full hookups. Minimalist though, nothing fancy. Good $$.

Jetty Park is always fun to camp at, however I do not recommend the Inlet camping. My mistake, I thought I would try something different, but there is no electricity out here! I guess I saw the $40 per night price tag and assumed that there would be, but there is not. Also, generators are allowed to power the big rigs that camp out here, and they run - All. Day. Long. Luckily campground rules state that they have to go off at 10:00 p.m., although last night in the wee hours of the morn some jerk turned his on twice and woke me out of a sound sleep. Also, all the "day people" line the shore in their cars in front of the campground and play loud music, predominantly hispanic. The day people also run through your campsite non-stop. I much prefer being in the campground proper (only registered campers are allowed into this secured area), and although the sites are close together people are much more courteous, and you don't have any of the day tripper nonsense. I still recommend it, it's super fun to watch the cruise ships go by, and to be here if there is a launch. Great breeze and the beach is pristine. One more note, last year when I was camping inside the real campground, I had some food in my camper and a squirrel broke in, gnawing his way through a couple places of the screen of my pop-up. So just be careful if you leave food in your trailer!
