A beautiful memorial dedicated to those who lost their lives during WWII in the Navy. It is located right along the water front. It has the names of those lost on metal plates on the memorial. Very moving monument to those who served. A must see for history lovers when visiting Liverpool.
A small and understated War Memorial to the ships' crew of the civilian British Merchant Navy in both World Wars One and Two.
Without their bravery and sacrifice, the UK would have starved.
Somehow, this small memorial seems at odds to the enormity of their achievements.

Was good.. but was a bit too dark inside for me...but still was good..
Poignant memorial with good views over the Mersey
Very well placed, facing the sea but such a shame the area's not kept weed-free, it taints the reason for the structures
